  1. Got my boat back from the shop today and tomorrows high is 39F. ARRRR. Looking like a week or terrible weather before I will even get a chance to stand up on the water behind it!!!!! :(
  2. @schafer I'm not missing that weather at all! Alberta is taking another beating I see. Now as SOON as I get my boat back from the repair shop I'll be the happiest dude on here! Man it will feel like Christmas for me! And at the rate it's going it will probably be Christmas before I get it back too! :(
  3. Does anyone know why Nelly Ross didn't ski her turn? No score, no show at the dock too.
  4. I received mine not long after I ordered them! Matter of fack I have one of them on right now as I watch the webcast drinking coffee! OMG - It's Thanksgiving I should be enjoying a cold beer as I watch such a sporting event! :)
  5. Have a hard time logging on on my ipad some days?
  6. @ToddL you're very correct in your saying T$ is the real deal. Great guy, great coach, and never a product pusher. He promotes what helps YOU become a better skier!
  7. @klindy yes thanks I was a little slow that day! :) LOL
  8. Just need to get my boat back from the shop. Until then I will spend time supervising the house build and working on re-arranging my boat house while there is no boat in there. Hope to get an afternoon in with T$ near the end of the week if the weather clears up?????
  9. @MattP I don't really have a top choice and it would be far above me and my ability to pick any one skier! I guess that was the point I was trying to make. Heck if I really had to pick an MVP though I would choose @Horton and I have never met the dude. But based on what he gives the general waterskier here access too just on this site alone shows a committment far and beyond what a lot of others give back to the sport! As a moderator of the site I give special mention to you as well. "Skier of the Year" or "Player of the Year" if compared to other sports can be the best hitter, the best 3 point shooter, most goals, or people can be chosen for this for coming back and having great seasons after suffering injuries. Either support the title in my mind! So there that's the best I can give you! :)
  10. I'm out of town working again and my wife so nicely informed me last night that there was a package at the front door when she got home. Of course it had my name on it but she went ahead and opened it knowing full well I'd be asking her what it was as soon as I heard? And in this nice package were two brand new BOS t-shirts that I ordered a few days ago! :) Can't wait to get home and get one on and again share my passion for skiing with all the people around me and advertise our great past time! Get yours today peeps and show your support!
  11. Are we viewing this "Skier of the Year" in the same format one would view MVP in other sports? They are certainly different discussions. MVP could easily be stated as Nate for the male division and Regina for female solely based on wins. However what about the skier that has worked hard enough to improve what they have done and seen more significant improvement that brought them closer to the above mentioned skiers. Someone mentioned Erica Lange - where was she at the start of the season vs setting the trick record? Trent Findlayson - changing teams and progressing to tying the Canadian record. Just because someone holds up the cup at the end of a tournament doesn't necessary mean they are the skier of the year to me! But that's a personal thought too I guess.
  12. @mwetskier - it's panoramic and looks off maybe compared to the other shots?
  13. Wife sent me these as I am away working! SO exciting to see such major progress on our new lake home. Love the second pic that show you will be able to see teh lake right through the house as soon as you walk through the door! And yes every morning and every evening being able to see the lake out my bedroon window. My little paradise ic starting to unfold and come true! :)
  14. There is no substitute for good coaching! With that said see you Thanksgiving week T$.
  15. Congrats @MattP that sounds like you truely had a great year. I know I can't wait for our house to be finished so I can be on the water everyday after work and start to improve drastically too! Going to spend some time with T$ over Thanksgiving and hopefully improve a little more!!!!! Good stuff @MattP
  16. Got a few passes in today in the wind
  17. Sometimes the end of the day brings a great smile too!
  18. Just shelled out my $$$$ for a couple shirts for support! Will wait for them in the mail. I almost feel like a biker in some ways who buys a shirt that says support the Red Machine! LOL I will wear my BOS Support shirts proudly! :)
  19. I'm pretty darned flexible.....if I can find a driver?????
  20. It was an awesomely warm and nice day at our lake yesterday! :)
  21. The man was pure inspiration to the sport as a whole! He will be missed and hard to replace.
  22. @T$ congrats man! You told me it was coming together on the new ski so this is no surprise to me. Keep going dude and you will own this record outright. Happy for ya!
  23. Thanks for the help guys. Appreciate it.
  24. I'm new to the Houston area and am in need of a Nautique mechanic. I live south of the city about 25 mins and all I can seem to find on line is a dealership way up north of the city over an hours drive each way. Have some electrical issues I need to get sorted out in a hurry. Any help is greatly appreciated.
