Predator Bay is located just south of Calgary along the Bow River. Probably one of the sweetest ski sites in the world! The World Championships were help there in 2009 and every year it hosts the MasterCraft Pro Shootout. I'm sure you will get many positive feed backs and invites from the locals on here and anyone who has been fortunate enough to be able to ski there.

When I still lived in Alberta I made a trip down to El Centro, California and bought a ski from Steve at Pacific Slalom. He let me ski it and he set it up for me while I was there. Steve is a great guy and very helpful. I don't ski on the ski I purchased from him any more (HO A2) but still ski on an HO. Ran a set yesterday here and according to the Baller Index it was -16.67. No matter the sun FINALLY came out after w week of rain and terrible weather! Maybe I will get lucky two days in a row and wife will get back in the drivers seat for me again today! :)

@T-fromTO no man she is a Yorkie/Pom mix. Loves the boat but absolutely hates cars if you can believe that? She's a fun lil sh*t and I enjoy having her in the boat!

Loves to go and always knows where the skier is.

Interesting ideas. I too would like to see more homemade ideas that deal with this issue.

I had my best set of the year yesterday on the shortest day of the year! Was such a good day we followed it up with drinks with a few friends on the back deck! :)

Skied here in Texas today. Windy but not suits needed! Air was a sweet 75 and water is 65. Weather man says 73 tomorrow, chance of light showers, and wind at 6 mph. 66. Should be another regular ski day with no suits needed! :)

Skied a set tonight after work. Was able to get it in before it got dark. Hope to get home earlier tomorrow so we can ski in brighter light! :)

Was nice day for a couple runs here on Saturday. Water is still warm enough and we have people still skiing without anything other than their swim suits! :)

Just ordered my new handle from Brenda yesterday as well as a set of her Black Friday special gloves. Didn't go with the crossbar but for sure went with the tubing. I have tried a few of her handles in the past skiing with friends - hence the purchase. Plus she advertises here and I try my best to support those who drive and support our passion!

Name is Rod. Hooked on swerving around orange balls a couple winters ago after travelling down from Canada to San Marcos to spend a day skiing with Trent F! Fast forward to the last spring I got got transferred to Texas. We bought a lot and built a home in a wonderful ski community. Have been fortunate enough to ski with and meet some great people and skiers. I'm a hack skier still learning, trying to break old open water habits, and having a blast improving as I go. I ski year round no matter the temp because well..................... if the lake isn't frozen........we can't skate on it so let's ski it! Great site Horton and I thank all the people that contribute to the site to help me gain knowledge and try to get better! Addicted?????? HELL YES!!!!!! :)

Wind was up from the northwest yesterday but still managed to get a 1/2 decent set in!

Just came inside from my first set in a month after being away for work. Water was nice and the rain let up for us to get out and ski. Hope tomorrow's weather report is wrong and I can get back out again! :)

Manon Costard set the new collegiate women's record on one here at our lake this fall. And she looked very good riding it during her run. Was fun to watch her!
