Many of the skiers in my group, Mens 8, have decided to remove the break (wing ) from their ski. The rational is that at 32 mph, one does not want the ski to slow down so fast after the second wake. Thus creating a narrow angle to the ball. My experience so far is that at 32 mph, the wing caused more fatigue at the end of the day. I have also heard that many consider wing removal as heresy, and I am a good Christian.
Any thoughts regarding this, especially from the goats out there?
