  1. Epic fail? If you consider taking a very good ski boat say the SN196 and slowly turning it into the Ski Natique of today, then yes epic fail. MC has done a superb job in listening to their market and responding with a product that meets and exceeds the ideals and demands of the same. If there were some advice for the president of SN it may be: call your R&D department in and say you and you are fired, the rest of you go and brush off the CP hull and brand it SN. Then sell it well equipped for $80,000 with dial gauges. Allow for optioning it up with whatever the customer wants. Heck you could put a solid gold shift knob on it, and it would still sell for less than $100k That is my rant
  2. Same color scheme as mine. I love any color boat as long as it is black and white.
  3. bananaron Nice disclaimer.
  4. Ed_Johnson Agree what happened to the flu, being a sceptic, I'll wager the death toll was rolled into the SARS-Cov-2 Coronavirus syndrome. It is also not surprising the people that have a low chance of contracting the virus are not afraid of it. Similarly, those who have a greater risk should be cautious. It should not be a universal fear driven by a news hungry media. My two cents re nationals or any event is the participation is a personal choice and the timing of the event should not be contingent on what ifs.
  5. Let's talk numbers. Number of newly discovered positive test are increasing. Is that because more people are tested? Are these new positive tests asymptomatic or just carriers? Should only sysmtomatic patients be tested? Just opening a bigger discussion and lookinng for insight.
  6. The flush has traditionally been inside the engine compartment. The through hull application is ingenious.
  7. Great new boat from a company that is actually listening to its market. This addition will elevate MC's brand awareness and benefit all previous year models. I can’t wait to experience the wakes and driving experience. All of this w/o increasing the starting price. Any comments on the best flooring option?
  8. Same thing here, good start to the season. Then my ski caught Covid and boom down for the count. The new carbon construction must be more suscepatible.
  9. Go In Tow. I have a spectra handle that I would really like to replace, but alas, after 3 years it is as good as new.
  10. Lakeside Ski Village AZ. Now air 99.6 water 86.4 F, Sorry.
  11. I must be crazy to even think about starting a new ski company or IMBCTETASANSC. Not very catchy, but to the point.
  12. I am currently making a list of interested parties. Please IM me your contact info so that I can move the process forward and provide specific details. Thank you.
  13. @dbutcher Does anyone have experience as to the best way to insure this sort of operation against liaibility?
  14. Very formative planning for a water ski club/pay to ski in the Phoenix area. I need to know what level of interest there is. Basically, I have access to a rotation on a private lake outside of Phoenix. Conversations started. Any interest?
  15. Will paid section fees be refunded?
  16. In Az we do all of these things, we have 3 rounds, turn and burn, lunch dinner, tee shirts at some events and a fun atmosphere. Always looking for more ways to make the weekend fun. I’m sure we are not alone across the country. It would be interesting to hear how other LOC’s make their events worth attending.
  17. Great property, this is my neighbors lot and well taken care of. The lakes are beautifully maintained. I have no stake in the sale of this property. Just want to see a good new owner and am happy to answer any questions.
  18. My vote is that AWSA gets out of the boat testing an approval business. Specs for speed tolarences and course deviation standards are as far as they should go. If a Bass boat could preform to these standards, who cares? (exageration to prove a point) No one asked for bigger more expensive ski tugs. With the AWSA, like with so many professional orginizations, the primary objective is to fund itself and the benifits to the members are questionable. We are all too close to the problem to solve it. It needs to be blown up and re-written. If the market for three event boats was thin 15 years ago, tripling the price can't be the answer. My $.02.
