  1. I do agree that using non chemical means to control weeds and algae are the best courses of action. I can not help but bristle a bit when science does not support the claims made against chemicals. This is a quote from the reporting on the Monsanto case: We are sympathetic to Mr. Johnson and his family," Partridge said. But he added that the court decision "does not change the fact that more than 800 scientific studies and reviews . . . support the fact that glyphosate does not cause cancer, and did not cause Mr Johnson's cancer."
  2. This is all good dialog and interesting perspectives as to what the boats actually weigh. The question that keeps popping up in my mind at least is: Has the steady progression upward of weight and size improved the performance of the boat and wake?
  3. With all due respect and appreciation to Correct Craft for many, many years of dedication to the Ski boat business, this boat is a tub. It is too wide will not fit in any of the dock slips at our lakes, too heavy, requiring a large expensive engine, and too heavy. It is a further departure from what the Slalom community has been saying they want and seems to be a crossover, compromise with all of the "ski Locker" storage. Because of the shear size and weight, the hull has gimmicky solutions that add unnecessary cost to mitigate the wide wildly bubbly wake. Where does this end? Will we have to widen the boat guides for the next rendition of the boats? This boat needs to go on an athletic diet. My $.02
  4. You didn't mention what the target pest/problem is with your water. What ever you do, do not use Copper Sulphate. PM me if you would like.

    Re-power!!

When one reposers do you have to install Cat converter stuff? If not is that an additional benefit?
  6. Lots of very wild speculation in that video. Can't wait for the oil glut and cheap gas.
  7. Very interesting conversation. After reading all of it, I had to ask myself WHY? Why does anyone want an electric boat? Really, a serious question.
  8. Ok, this is something that I am working on as the next Promo Boat in AZ. Basically the hull is white gelcoat with a blue deck. The blue strip would be a wrap material with cutout stars. This is a photo shop taken from Goggle. It would be a one-off type boat that is modified by the dealer to suit the buyer. The strip colors could easily vary. Just testing the waters.
  9. Just brand the CP hull with the SN brand and call it good. Improve fit and finish, a screen and away we go. a 2800 lb boat with a great wake without any do dads hanging in the water. Doesn't get any better that the CP wake. Same great quality at the MC wake.
  10. Agree with @steveieboy. I feel stronger with hands close together. Think of a tug of war with a big rope.
  11. This seems like a fairly recent issue for the engines. Is there another factor involved, such as the addition of catalytic converters. Hotter air is less dense so more is needed.
  12. the iPhones from 7 to current have an image stabilizer that makes it useless when mounted on a boat pylon.
  13. @moski I have the same peripheral devices you have and using the Tracker App. I have been struggling with a good way to record until this past weekend. I purchased a refurbished iPhone 6 for <$180 and connected it to my apple account. Mounted on a pylon mount and set to 120 fps it starts the video when skier speed is attained, runs the camera speed slo mo when the skier starts for the gate and stops video what skier speed is below set speed. This keeps it from running constantly. Best of all it sinks via iCloud with all of my other iPhone devices instantly. Nice. Happy now.
  14. I have driven and skied the 2019 MC awesome boat. Silk smooth with a very nice way at all speeds. Great styling and very driver rider friendly. Move over SN.
  15. We use Overtons and replace them twice each year. (year round use) mostly to be our best for tournaments. The sun takes it's toll on the color pigment.
  16. When you set skier profiles, there are 16 available, you also set ballast settings. Many skiers have the same drivers, so this is a great feature. I watch boats on our lake run down the course with a hug wall of spray flowing from the drivers side. Must be a very asymmetrical wake.
  17. 6balls: Yes it does level the boat at the push of button, and it is infinitely variable. Handy especially if someone jumps in the boat at the last minute. As far as drivability, a level boat will drive straight and turn better. It is a very simple system.
  18. The MTS ballast system is combined with the set-up controls and automatically fills and empties with the preset skier/ driver profiles. Very slick. I agree every boat should have a ballast system for leveling. My 1999 MC had one. They have been around a long time.
  19. Yes it is the cool fell material. Very nice, If it is good here it will work anywhere. HOT!!
  20. 2019 MC PS Arizona Promo boat arrives home. Unbelievable attention to the needs of the three even skier. Only slalom skied behind it so far. Coming from the CP the wake is so very close, if there is a difference one can not tell. Just enough control telemetry, and no extraneous gadgetry to control the wakes. Love this boat. Simple elegance is all I can say. Look forward to skier input in AZ. It has been a very long time since MC has been present in the tournament scene here.
  21. igkya That does seem like a low pH for your area. I would think the soils more alkyl in that region.
  22. leonl The water release will reduce the ppm Copper in the water, but more importantly if there is a large inflow of water to the lake nutrients will be carried with it. Once things settle a bit you may need to re-apply CuSO4 to regain the 2 ppm needed to prevent algae.
  23. I now see you are located in KY, I had you confused with a lake with the same name in UT. So therefore CuSO4 will be fine in your waters. Best of luck.
