  1. $15k is a pretty fair price for it out here in Australia. Possibly a bargain...
  2. If we are talking changes how about an 8 ball course? As for the OP's question I'm taking the mini course....
  3. Some interesting perspective here but still nothing definite in terms of performance. Clearly skis are better now but - not faster, not lighter, they don't turn better but better scores are being had. I wonder how this conversation will go in another 10 years..
  4. Having an extended break from skiing means I've not yet tried a slalom ski built on this site of y2K - Weather permitting next week that will change. What can I expect from the new skis? Less weight? The Goode was around in the late 90's and it was pretty light... Better bindings for sure, I'm already using T Factor Boots on my old stick. Anything else?
  5. Thanks for the words of encouragement. After a few rest days I went back for my second session - 2 sets 4 passes pretty much just cutting through the gates and then 1 - 2 ball and its feeling much better. Being a lefty my 2-4 still feels very foreign but getting a feel for everything else. Not trying to run full passes just yet.. D3 test ski arrives next week, will be very interesting to see how far skis have come in the last decade.
  6. Back in the day I could squeeze out a 35 @36... on a good day. I've been out for 8 years and now just getting back into it but at 45 plus its not as easy as I recall.. 22 off @34 almost feels fast, its like all the pieces of the puzzle are there but I can't put them together just yet. And things have changed, skis, boats, records... Anyway I'm still on an old CR7 but research tells me that the new D3 Quest should be first choice on the shopping list. Testing one next week and will report my findings.
