  1. I was just wondering if and how the ski's that the pro's ride differ from what we can buy off the rack?
  2. I do but almost always ski below my practice level, often but not always.
  3. I've never been much a big day skier but the great thing about this sport is you can go out any day of the week and measure yourself against the course. This week I have nothing to prove and I'm ok with it.
  4. @Skijay Link is working now, the ozski site is hosted out of the US so it can be a little slow to load at times. More info here as well https://www.facebook.com/OzSkiResort @Ed_Johnson - Thanks.
  5. I would take 25 at this point.. Anyway this is a pretty special opportunity to work along side one of our sports great skiers in a beautiful part of the world. Mid winter and we can ski almost every day in great conditions...
  6. This sort of opportunity does not pop up every day!!! Oz Ski Resort is pleased to announce an opportunity for an Elite skier (17-25) who is interested in spending twelve months skiing and working in Australia. More information here - http://www.ozskiresort.com/situations-vacacant-elite-skier-wanted/
  7. Ok, is there a Horton set for us now? Its certainly short, not much time to kick a foot into a toe strap..
  8. The next stage will probably be adjustable tail rocker blocks.... Something else to tweak and confuse and blame..
  9. Think I would rather teach people to keep their chest up... I guess whatever works for the individual.
  10. Hmmmm, http://www.proskicoach.com/assets/images/articles/winter/counter-rotate-for-leverage/terry.jpg
  11. I'm running my bindings all the way back on the 67, the fin is pretty much stock with 7 degrees on the wing... Its the sort of ski that looks after you and can make you look better than you probably should.
  12. What speed and line length are you running? How is your ski setup? Bindings? Fin?
  13. @Ryno - Emma has been on a few different skis in the last month or so, Jobe, Connelly, Quest ..
  14. Goode seems to have a history of QC problems.... Back in the 90's they were falling apart & breaking. No disrespect intended but you don't hear a lot about other brands and bad quality, I'm a bit of a fan of Goode but it seems to be a case by case basis with their sticks. You get the right one and your ok, at least they appear to stand behind the product if things start breaking..
  15. Concept. Yeah I know they were popular back in the day but to me it felt like pig compared to my HO. I've had a hard time forgiving Conelly, I'm still not quite there.
  16. http://www.schnitzskis.com/images/526_DSC_6143_Warped.jpg the Warp 7 is also very tidy, see it there in the photo?
  17. Opinions on the best looking slalom ski for 2013? And your vote for all time? My vote goes to the Mapple 6.0 for this year, close second is the Radar Strada. Still thinking about the all time best looking ski. The all time ugly award goes to those dam ugly sticks Connelly released in the mid 90's ... Rocket, Concept etc..
  18. The is a global issue and it you know its severe when you start to notice how flat your lap pool looks... There is also a dirt bike version of this condition.
  19. @AB - With video please :)
  20. Yeah I just look at the video taken of -43 attempts and it looks close to impossible. Possibly if we could breed a 7 foot skier with rubber arms.. Does anyone know how far its been taken in practice? I read Nate has been around 3 ball.
  21. They probably said this about 39.5 and 41 but does anyone think 43 is possible?
  22. Has anyone seen any other brand of ski fall apart like this?
  23. Well they could still go down by .25 of a meter, it would give the skiers a lot more bouys between 41 and impossible.
