  1. April for Alberta, but the goal is to travel enough in the winter to make it seem like ski season doesn’t end. Even if it is 6 weeks between sets.
  2. The buoys just got installed a month ago in the ski lake. Beauty spot. Some of the clearest water I’ve ever skied on. About halfway between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. Msg me if you are looking for more info. And I can put you in touch with the right people.
  3. I wasn't using the spacer washers on my aluminum sequence plate. Just screwed it down. Just got my new Carbon/g10 plate. I liked the alum cause I could move a half a hole forward or back. Now this new one is just amazing for adjustability. Love at first sight for me. Well done Radar!
  4. @theboardingschool will always have good water regardless of the wind. And Travis is ok too!
  5. Check out Pickos site. And one of the nicest beaches in the US is 10 minutes away or less.
  6. @Cusefan78 I went from a 12' strada to a 14' Vapor. And loved it. Then I went to a 16' Vapor. Loved it more. If the 16' isn't in your budget. You won't regret the 14' or 15'.
  7. @brooks and @eddie_roberts_jr put my bindings on this ski a few weeks back. From the first pass it felt great. It turns so smooth and takes so much angle, and like the other guys are saying, puts you so early and wide it's just ridiculous. Such a fun, lively ski. I wanted to take it home with me then, but I'm beyond excited to get one in August. Radar really hit a Home Run with the 18' Vapor. Thanks to the guys for the sneak peak.
  8. I liked my 16 lithium vapor and even more so my probuild vapor in cold water in Alberta. My new practice best was in a drysuit last fall. 6'0 170lbs on a 66" Vapor 36 mph
  9. @dhofert Another vote for The Boarding School. But I'd bet you will have a great time with @brooks this weekend at the RadarNation day!
  10. @Wes that's the spot. This is our third summer there now.
  11. @njordan2001 mine hurt quite a lot the first couple sets(was in Florida and too excited to ski instead of heat molding) did the hairdryer heat before the 3rd set and now they are the most comfortable boots I've owned. Give it 5-6 sets. Then see what you think.
  12. Everyone is welcome to stop in for a set at my little piece of Alberta Paradise near Lacombe this is from Sunday morning.
  13. @skihard I concur. Trying to get @pgmoore to not worry about cold water and just Ski!!
  14. New site rocks. Great Job @brooks !
  15. @DmaxJC_ski touché Alberta ain't so bad.
  16. @Bill22 if those are boiled peanuts I'll make the move from Alberta for that
  17. @jimski I'm still at 9° on the wing in this frigid water.
  18. i am so very close to @ZipZapPaddyWhack numbers on my 66", and this thing has been performing incredible even in 45 degree water. didnt think it could be much better than the 16' but it's great.
  19. Pulled the buoys 10 days ago. Snow on the ground. Water was 37°. Forecast in the high teens (Celsius) for the next 4 days. Buoys going back in tomorrow. Coming for a set @pgmoore @DmaxJC_ski ???
  20. Snow on the dock and still skiing.
  21. @oldmanskier do you guys ski year round at no wake? February specifically? I believe I'll be there to see some friends. And wherever I fly, I like to take my ski along.
  22. Really Excited for you @brooks . You're enthusiasm for this sport/addiction is contagious. I wish you and Radar nothing but the best in this new chapter.
