  1. @swaterkd I'm pretty sure it was not streamed live. That was just video footage taken from the event of Freddie's set
  2. damn @Horton i wish you did cause i think its ba and cause i think i could use a free wakeye
  3. Yes Whitney was on the reflex last year too
  4. just checked for you @Horton still no boat, but you are welcome to come ski with me. water reached 70 F last night. gotta be the first time that i ever remember water warming up to the 70 mark late may in alberta, ussually its late june
  5. Welcome back. I see Shalom was just as calm as ever.
  6. I have the blacktec long sleeve top and yes they rule. This spring was strange. I was good to wear it right after ice out. Never had to wear the drysuit. And not sure how it can be so warm And so thin.
  7. another resounding Vote for @brooks at the boarding school. Laid Back, well protected water, great boat. i spent 5 days with my buddies skiing with at another busy site. went and skied two sets with brooks and i learned more then i had all week. cant say enough good things about him. next trip to O-town will be going straight to the boarding school. just try and ski with Brooks and not have a huge smile on your face
  8. My ronix Banana boardshorts (my wife hates them. Think they look ridiculous)
  9. as of yesterday i loved my green ski, now you all have me wanting a blue one
  10. @Andre we got snow in alberta today too. But at least the ice is off. You gonna be at Nats this year?
  11. This past week the ice flow has started to exit alberta. Water was 52° and I decided that I would skip the drysuit and just wear shorts and my blacktec top. It was cold. But very bearable. Helps when the air is in the 60's. In the fall I think I will still need the drysuit when the air is cold as well. But camaro rocks.
  12. Season officially underway in alberta. Air was up to 68° today. I skied just before dark. Water was 52° so decided to skip the drysuit. Maiden set on my new private site. It was sure awesome. I think we are gonna name it "the beaver dam" landowner guesses that there could be double digits of them in the lake. Florida has gators. Alberta has beavers.
  13. I wear an eagle large. And have a camaro medium. Fit very similar
  14. Got a new private site this year. needless to say I'm over the moon excited to ski. Sweettalked a landowner for access to the water. The ice was so rotten that I stuck my fingers in and it just fell apart. Also this is just north of Red Deer, Alberta. Ice came off two weeks ahead of last year. Water temp was 45° f where the ice was already off. And in the "ice cubes" was reading 33°
  15. i use my drysuit til mid 50's then go to a camaro top, never liked skiing in a wetsuit
  16. Temps are rising in alberta. Hope to have the ice melt this week.
  17. I love my green Lambo as well. But I've been addicted to the radar koolaid for awhile too.
  18. @andjules I learned to slalom behind a 99 moomba boomerang with a GT-40 in it. I'm lucky to still have my shoulders attached. And yes the wake was very small. But the little that was there was very hard. My 98 SN is a better wake.
  19. The heated seat in my truck on the way to the lake. But before tournaments if time allows a quick jog and some minor stretching
  20. I was at the Edmonton boat show. Not to mention there were only 2 boats at the entire show made for skiing. 200 and a prostar. But the "show" price for the team 200 was a whopping 98,800.00. I could not believe it. Now I know the Canadian dollar is low. But how are we supposed to justify 100 grand for a boat where it's winter for 6 months out of the year. (Although this year probably only 5). I bet I'll be repowering my 98 ski nautique when the gt40 kicks the bucket
