Administrators Horton Posted February 12, 2012 Administrators Share Posted February 12, 2012 If you have been reading this website for long you've heard this before. One of the things I think most skiers miss is identifying the one major thing wrong in their skiing and obsessive on it until it is fixed. The hard part is finding that most important single thing. Do you know what you need to work on this year? Baller Chef23 Posted February 12, 2012 Baller Share Posted February 12, 2012 I barely skied last year because I blew a disk. Right now I am working on fitness as that is what has held me back. I am down 12 pounds right now and hope for another 15-20 by May. Once I get there and back on the water I will have to figure out what I am working on. Baller_ Wish Posted February 12, 2012 Baller_ Share Posted February 12, 2012 Working on acquiring a new ski on a tiny shoe string budget. Obsessively working on it and it should fix all my bad habits, poor technique and lack of skill. Ya, that's it. That's the ticket.

Administrators Horton Posted February 13, 2012 Author Administrators Share Posted February 13, 2012 @travnews that is the classic mistake. You need to find the biggest problem - and the best solution and work it long term. Finding the one thing is maybe 1/2 the battle but otherwise you are just a dog chasing a squirrel Goode ★ HO Syndicate ★ KD Skis ★ MasterCraft ★ PerfSki Radar ★ Reflex ★ S Lines ★ Stokes ★ Baller Video Coaching System Become a Supporting Member or make a One-time Donation
travnews
Oh ya I know getting stacked is number one. I just had my clavicle fixed, metal plate and 12 screws, so here soon I'm hanging the handle from a door knob, to try to help create some muscle memory.
