Baller colo_skier Posted September 19, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 19, 2013 Maybe the owner is a really bad driver. This way he does not have to pay to much attention as nobody is going to miss that thing on the water. Looks like nobody wanted to be photographed in it either. bogboy
Sometimes there is a cute/fun factor in a boat being different. When you're on the water, how bad can it be?
Baller ForrestGump Posted September 19, 2013 Baller Share Posted September 19, 2013 Color based anti theft as opposed to electronic based anti theft system. You could leave that thing parked in the 4th ward of Houston and not a soul would make off with it.
Baller chris_logan Posted February 24, 2014 Baller Share Posted February 24, 2014 I wonder two things here: 1)What the guy who owns this looks like, 2)Who he expects to buy this rig?? http://www.onlyinboards.com/App_Themes/OIB/BoatPhoto/217362.jpegonlyinboards.com/Details.aspx?ID=40293

Baller Edbrazil Posted February 24, 2014 Baller Share Posted February 24, 2014 Slightly off-topic, but another ugly boat story. Eastern Region icon Lex Carroll (RIP) was a Correct Craft person, from the time that CC replaced the old goodie woodies in the 60's. He was a car dealer, and worked out a great deal with CC, where he would do a tradeout of a dealer demo car for a new CC boat each year. I remember that one time he had an "Al Tyll skier" CC. ?Anybody else remember that model? One year, getting back on topic, the CC promo boat was a bright orange color. At Lex's place, he wanted to keep a low profile, and didn't want orange. Told CC that if my boat is orange, so will be your dealer demo car. Lex won. Great person who had a major influence in the East, and where his site is still in action as one of the very few 3-event sites in New England. Baller chris_logan Posted February 25, 2014 Baller Share Posted February 25, 2014 @E_T I remember MC posting a write up with that boat in it on facebook that generated a little bit of styling backlash in the commentary below it. MC came back letting everyone know that it was all just vinyl and nobody painted anything. @JJVDMZN that looks like the perfect commuter car for the 9-5 paper pusher who just wants to blend into society without being noticed.
