kfennell
I heard today third hand that wileys has lost their rubber supplier and they are not selling any new bindings for the time being? Can anyone shed some light on this?
mikegile
Apparently there was an issue with using the glue, that holds the layers together, in California. They had to do the gluing elsewhere and there was a bit of a delay. Slalom bindings are ready to go, apparently trick and jump bindings will be ready shortly. Baller bbirlew Posted July 29, 2014 Baller Share Posted July 29, 2014 I was told the same thing. I'm on a wait list for a trick binding. Strangely enough, today the glue between the layers of my slalom bindind let go! Any ideas for a quick fix to glue it back together? I was going to try 'aqua-seal'. Baller mwetskier Posted July 29, 2014 Baller Share Posted July 29, 2014 when i need to bond that wiley's type of rubber to neoprene for clients fixtures i've used this stuff with great results - http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Aerospace/Aircraft/Prod_Info/Prod_Catalog/?PC_Z7_RJH9U5230GE3E02LECIE20SOG5000000_nid=9QJ7LQ4830be1K3HXBTMF8gl you should be able to find it at an automotive supply -if its not located in california.
