@Than_Bogan As I say, this must have been five or so years ago when we first started seeing these sorts of guards in good old England. I've no idea of the brand but I think it was one with the zip tie sort of thing that looped around the handle bar from the guard which I guess fell out of style. I'm sure it wasn't one of Brenda's. I've never used a guard but certainly wouldn't rule it out. As for carrying on the skiing, thank you, I will do my very best!
