Baller usaski1 Posted June 21, 2015 Baller Posted June 21, 2015 I have the zbox, and looks like version 8.000. I have the system controlling and locking in okay, after I did some adjustments the the CS value settings (control settings, mine happens to be at 1665) If I set it any lower, it will randomly not take control. Problem is, in slalom gps mode, if I have it set for 26.7mph or 28.6mph, it doesn't engage til about a mile over that. Do I need to recalibrate baselines?
Baller Ed_Obermeier Posted June 21, 2015 Baller Posted June 21, 2015 Yes. If SG isn't engaging a few hundred RPM below the baseline setpoint it needs to be reset to a lower baseline.
Baller usaski1 Posted June 21, 2015 Author Baller Posted June 21, 2015 Funny thing is, I went into cal mode, and if I got it right on in CAL mode, it still engaged hot with back in GPS mode. removing rpm in cal mode, I got it to log in nearly on point (+.5 mph hot) but then it was slow in CAL mode. What ver are you running? I wish it didn't cost so much for a new ECM.. $1500 for a dang computer is nuts. Can I use an updated ECM with my current stargazer?
Baller GregHind Posted June 21, 2015 Baller Posted June 21, 2015 Your software version is old and known for that problem. Upgrading is cheap. Call perfect pass and get the new software
Baller gregy Posted June 21, 2015 Baller Posted June 21, 2015 Mark was it working before or did this problem just start happening?
Baller usaski1 Posted June 21, 2015 Author Baller Posted June 21, 2015 Its my own fault.. in an attempt to "fix" things.. I started messing with the cr/cs engage value. I'm upgrading this week!
