I'm looking for some advice. I'm 170-175lb skier. Skiing at 34mph pb 3@ 28. I am skiing on a 2014 67" vapor alloy. I love the ski but have had the opportunity to ski a couple 66" lithium in free ski. I Plan to look for a used good deal this winter on a lithium. Would you recommend the 66" or 67" for my weight and ability?

In fairness, everything is smoother and feels better free skiing. You are also less likely to make sudden movements or jump on the front of the ski while free skiing like you might do in the course when you're in trouble and that's where the shorter ski can really hurt you. For me, I've always felt more comfortable and gotten better buoy counts on the lower end of the weight scale than the upper limit...especially when the weight limit is for a 36mph ski and I'm skiing 34mph.
