Baller SkiKolb Posted April 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted April 21, 2017 Well it been just over a year, but I have sucessfully, sold the GT40, and installed PCM 343CAT engine. Now I am trying to find the final pieces to install ZO. I have found a few 5" ZO display units , but I don't necessarily want to cut the dash up for that. I am hoping to find a gently used or new 3.5" ZO head unit for a reasonably price. Please let me know if anyone knows of anything available? I may have this boat for sale soon. It has a new Bimini cover, PTM mirror, new steering cable, and the new engine.
Baller_ Wish Posted April 22, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted April 22, 2017 @Thager has a brilliant idea for how and where to mount the ZO display you have.
Baller Gloersen Posted April 22, 2017 Baller Share Posted April 22, 2017 if mounted at angle in cup holder, will need ZO head unit for angle mount functionality; accelerometers oriented properly.
Baller SkiKolb Posted April 22, 2017 Author Baller Share Posted April 22, 2017 Ok, so basically mount it like the boat is a 200 with the round 5" display?
Baller Gloersen Posted April 22, 2017 Baller Share Posted April 22, 2017 Eric, Yes if you have access to a SN 200 5" head unit and mount it in the '97 driver cupholder with the same angle of orientation as in a 200 (with this type of display) it should function fine. as Brian stated, I think @thager has some photos of his install
Baller_ Wish Posted April 22, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted April 22, 2017 He has posted pics of it on BOS before. Slick and almost looks factory installed. I think in materials it's like $5 bucks to do it if that. I sent him a message to repost pics so hopefully up soon.

Baller Gar Posted April 22, 2017 Baller Share Posted April 22, 2017 Would it fit in a speedometer hole on the dash?
Baller SkiKolb Posted April 22, 2017 Author Baller Share Posted April 22, 2017 My 97 SN take a 3.5in speedometer. But the 5" ZO are more available, it seem like
Baller rockdog Posted April 23, 2017 Baller Share Posted April 23, 2017 I think ZO have only ever been 5", I've never seen a smaller one.
