My two all time favorites (working at April’s and being taught to ski by a Mastercraft promo guy has made me biased)

1. 2009 Mastercraft Prostar TT - Red and Black Metal flake.

2. 1995 Mastercraft Prostar - Sammy Duvall Edition

In no particular order, they're all fantastic looking.

90-93 SN w/euro tail and original graphics iteration (94-96 facelift not nearly as pretty). Tied with TSC1/Bubble Butt

91-94 MC, 93 S&S the coolest of that gen by far

Loved the Evo hull MC, the best of those being the 2007 TT boat that's half red/half black and proprietary graphics for that year (they also had PP and ZO that year). Errbody loved that boat back then.

SN 200

Response LX w/progressive stripes, maybe 2001 they started that graphic treatment(?)

No specific order

- Late 90's Malibu's with the classic graphics

- New prostar

- 87-90 MasterCraft (love the fighter jets style windshield)

- TSC1 nautique (these grew on me since owning one)

- Mid 80's MasterCraft stars and stripes

Agree with lots of the above

--Supra Comp Ts6m (so @wish doesn't have to add it)

--Gekko GTR---wicked lines in the water but oh so easy to take water over either end

--09 MC 197 with the deep red metal flake on black--prob my favorite!

--mid 80's S/S classics

--Bu Lxi Silver Edition

--Nautique 200 in the right red/black combo--a baller rocks a promo like that every year if I recall but name escaping me.

Sorry I listed 6 couldn't help myself.

1. TSC1 Ski Nautique

2. TSC3 Ski Nautique 196 (with retro graphics)

3. MasterCraft 197 (2014+)

4. Ski Nautique 200 CB

5. MasterCraft 197 (late 2000's)

I am a sucker for big in your face, but clean, graphics, clean simple lines, teak platforms and the classic closed bow inboard look.

This thread is worthless without pics.

REALLY hard to get this down to 5... Honorable mentions to other years of the 197, the Response TXi, various Supras, Mid-90s ProStars, the 197x S&S, the '90-96 Nautique...

Maybe this poll is a Rorschach test of your age. To me,

1983-1985 MC Stars and Stripes - love the square windshield line

1986-1988 Malibu Skier with the multi-colored stripes (mine was base grey with 7 different colors in the stripes, with base stripe a garnet) -- The euro versions began their ugly phase that persistent -- kink of like the Mustang II phase no one wants to remember

1982-1984 SN 2001 with the tri-color stripe

1985-1986 SN 2001

Early 80s American Skiers

Pretty easy to figure out when I was a teen with boat stars in my eyes.

@UWSkier is right, this thread is worthless without pics!

I would have to agree with all your choices (being a Malibu guy myself) except for the MC, I would put a late 90s Supra comp in there instead to round off my top 5

I am surprised no one has mention the Carbon Pro...there are a couple boats that when I see them...I stop...

Every time Sunset Ranch lists one, I pause. I am not a fan of closed bow...but they really make them look cool and SR knows how to pick colors!4ciq3lybdpjk.png

The new Orange Prostar is one of the few boats that makes me want to trade in the Gekko.

I don't know how you improve on this (I don't know what year it is, I just saw it on the lake and was 'wowed'

and I do love the GTO...

Next poll should be best driver cockpit :)

Well I'm a tower guy, these pics have towers - deal with it. Some had other models of towers that ruined the looks, but I think these towers just accentuated already beautiful boats.

197 - the most beautiful ski boat EVER.

mastercraft-prostar-197-133949.jpg

Very close second place was the malibu txi/lxi.

After those top two then there are a lot of contenders and I would really have to think about exactly how to order them, but I have a couple examples below.

the '09 TT is pretty badass for sure. Only reason I didn't personally nominate that one is because I've always liked the MCs that say MC down the side in letters you can read from space. Not sure why but I've always dug those monster drip-molded graphics.

@"Keith Menard" the two MC's you called out are really nice, unique paint schemes I haven't seen before.

My list (like most everyone's) is bias.

1. Carbon Pro -- the last ski boat with clean natural lines

2. SN 196 --- always liked it no slope back, no bubble butt, no silly swoop "N"

3. Almost any MC with Stars & Stripes

4. MB Sports 200 - Always a nice looking quality boat

5. Gekko GTR -- I was going to put my personal Centurion Eclipse but I have to admit the GTR "Low Rider" always turned heads

Although purple is an acquired taste I think the one year only purple used in 1993 on the SN is one of the best or any NWZ is one of the best.

knvgs5ykyxlg.jpeg

2nd Generation SN especially the solid colored hulls and 1st generation Tiques. I’m clearly partial to these.

Mid and late model Malibu Sportsters (I believe that’s the era I’m thinking.

2000 MC 190’s

Carbon Pro
