chicoman88
I’m looking for a short setting for my senate pro. It tends to want to run a long smooth arc but I want it to turn a bit sharper and quicker. Fin setting is stock and I’m running the carbitex vapor boot one hole closer to the tail from center. I guess maybe I should start with going back to center on that. Any recommendations on fin change?

Baller TEL Posted July 14, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 14, 2019 Move DFT forward a little if moving boot forward doesn't help
Baller ski6jones Posted July 14, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 14, 2019 Measure your boots and put them at stock.
Baller dbutcher Posted July 14, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 14, 2019 I just got a 2019 Senate Pro. I haven't found Senate deep, short settings on Radar's website so I'm going to try the Vapor deep, short settings.

Baller OKSkier Posted July 16, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 16, 2019 @TFIN Also on a 67 Senate PRO - 210 lbs 28-32 off skier. How do the numbers you posted change the Senate's feel? just curious. THanks
Baller parkerc2112 Posted July 23, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 23, 2019 @TFIN your numbers worked like charm. 1st set, straight up the line to 1.5@35. 2 short of my PB. Thanks
Baller OKSkier Posted July 25, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 25, 2019 @parkerc2112 How different did the Senate pro perform with those settings? I have just had the stock numbers on the ski Curious. THanks
Baller parkerc2112 Posted July 25, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 25, 2019 Less movement from me and more stability. Smoother turns and better angle out of turns. I was running stock for first few rides, still good, but if Trent “loves”’the ski on those settings I’ll take his advice. You can always go back. Baller OKSkier Posted July 25, 2019 Baller Share Posted July 25, 2019 @parkerc2112 thanks very much for your comments I love the ski but more angle out of the turns interests me
Baller FOB69 Posted June 27, 2020 Baller Share Posted June 27, 2020 Hi, What is the reference for the boot placement with reflex slalom boot on the senate ? Binding plate position is not the same with my radar profile boot and reflex boot if i take the rear toe of the boot (reflex plate will be much more on the rear). Reflex binding is probably thinner than radar profile so i have a doubt. With the Tfin setting above, if i take the toe of the reflex boot as a reference i cannot set 30 1/4. The less i can do is 30 1/2 using the more rear screw position of the plate. Thank you for you advices. Bernard
