I am not sure whether I am more excited to watch Denis Villeneuve's Dune or college nationals this weekend. I am betting both will be awesome!

I’ve been watching this morning. Looks like those kids are having a ton of fun. Lots of swagger, too. I think my favorite so far was the kid who slapped the water with his right hand at 2 ball. Must be watching Joel Poland.

My son ran 2.5 2 30mph before he blew the tail out That fog was crazy. This was really his first full year with coaching only going to get better.

I went back and looked. The hand slap pass was on his way back to the dock after his score was over. That's what I get for trying to work and watch/listen at the same time.

Is there a schedule with skier breakdown/starting list? I tried following it today but it was impossible.

@APB If you go to Live Results (from the Results option on USAWS menu), both D1and D2 tournaments are there. Once you’ve selected a tournament, in the upper right corner you’ll see Running Orders. You can then click on the event (CM or CW S/T/ or J), to see orders from top to bottom, Groups 1-5. (Group 1skis first, Group 5 last.)

The excitement and energy is off the charts. Missing the Nationals last year has really ramped it up even higher!

Did you see the Miami University kid jump 80 feet on a finless wakeboard? Tony Lightfoot was blown away by the 3/4 cut.

@Cooper_Trelawney last info I got was that he was in stable condition and recovering at the hospital.

 

I spent way too much time with @Bruce_Butterfield in a tower judging slalom and poor guy had to listen to me call all of tricks while he was timing.

 

It was a blast and the Bennett's crew and all the officials pulled off another amazing Nationals! NCWSA Nationals is hands down the best event in waterskiing!!
