Lots of room with no middle box!

Must have a lot of vertical room between the hull and the floor to fit the drive to the prop?

A pylon can be added I bet. That makes me curious about the weight of all those batteries, displacement and wake characteristics. It would be a trip to see someone ripping through the course without the usual roar of the engine.

it's ridiculous looking for sure, but what's the battery recharge rate? I recently heard of a car battery charger that can recharge a battery in ~ 5min, about the same time it takes to fill a tank of gas. If true, that may be an option in the future of electric boats, depending on several factors, i.e. cost for one.

If you could buy the drivetrain separately, it would make for a nice project fitting that into a real ski boat hull.

But wait, then there is the Zero off hurdle. Nevermind, scratch that idea then. ?

@DavidN as I understand it, which I admit may be wrong, Zero Off should be much easier to implement in an electric drive train.

@B_S That’s most likely true. Still someone has to program it and that won’t be happening unless 3 event boats go electric at some point.
