It will be really interesting to see what happens this weekend at Ross' and then at Travers. The criteria is incredibly high. Thankfully, there is a placement way to qualify at these tournaments too. I wish the Masters still had Overall for the Open skiers. It seems like the US Master's Overall along with the World's Overall would be very prestigious titles to compete for. I suppose it comes down to sponsor dollars for prize money.

@Horton Danisheuskaya is from Belarus. Currently IWWF has a ban on them competing in any sanction record R/L events unless something has changed I do not know about. So also confused about how she posted scores at Pickos.

I understand that Danisheuskaya is skiing under the IWWF flag ( whatever / politics ).

I also added Neilly Ross as she won Moomba & had a score above the threshold.

Note: Venessa also won her event at Moomba but did not score above the threshold ( 5.5 @ 39) so she will have to fight for one of the remaining spots.

JT Ran a 4 @ 41 today so one would assume he is in. Detrick ran 3.5 at 41 so he just might get through.

Allie Nicholson ran 4 @ 39 and Manon ran 3.5 @ 39. The event is not over but I think they will go through.

Ok so from my text messages ( not official ) JT, Cole & Brian were tied.

There was two runoffs. First was Cole, JT & Brian. Cole gets 4 @ 41. JT & Brian tie w/ 3 @41.

JT and Brian go back out. Brian gets 3 @ 41. JT misses 39.

Cole and Brian go to Masters ( pending conformation)

Looks like 5 men's trick skiers and 1 women's trick skier scored over 11,000 in the second round! Scot Ellis pushing high 190's off the 5.5 ramp at about 50 yrs old is really impressive too. Those things and Joel Poland's scores in all 3 events really stand out. We live in a time when there are some really great skiers out there.

This past weekend, Joel skis in after his trick run. He’s standing in the water next to the dock, and the dock is about breast height where he is standing. He goes to hop up on the dock using his arms. Does he get out enough to sit on the dock in one move? How about to his knees? Nope. He pops out with so much power that he goes from standing in the lake breast height on the dock to standing on the dock in one fluid move. Very impressive.
