Baller 2Valve Posted June 23, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 23, 2022 Sounds crazy, but my dog is often the one who gets me out there every day, showing me what life is all about.
Baller_ Rednucleus Posted June 24, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted June 24, 2022 @2Valve Thank you - just finishing up my day at the veterinary clinic; you made me smile! I'll bet that tongue is a deadly weapon :)

Baller Bookm_dano Posted June 24, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 24, 2022 @2Valve, not crazy at all. Two of my favorite ski partners over the years were female German Shepherds. When we were 19 year old bone heads out on the lake, Rosie was a better observer than any of us.

Members brettmainer
My motivation is to be better than @Horton. The last couple years have been a failure. I used to be motivated to beat @Dirt and @schroed, but I am unwilling to quit my job and quit beer, so I’ve lowered my target. Even now I am a failure. Perhaps I shall lower my target to staying ahead of my daughter, but I fear I might lose in that as well. Plus, it goes against the grain to root against your daughter. That is likely to come home to roost when she is picking out my rest home. Back to the dog theme…there is no doubt that my dog is always the most excited family member to head to the lake. Baller Dirt Posted June 24, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 24, 2022 @brettmainer you have always been difficult to beat. It is hard to stay motivated to train hard over time.

Baller_ swbca Posted June 24, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted June 24, 2022 This is our observer's first ride at 2 months old. A gift to my lead driver to keep her motivated (willing) to drive. My motivation to ski is for mental and physical health. Mentally, skiing provides an endless number of avenues for improvement . . just keep brain storming, searching and testing to find way to improve. Physically, I always feel better after a slalom session. The best kind of whole-body fatigue.

Baller MitchellM Posted June 24, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 24, 2022 @MDB1056 my maltipoo loves when we ski. Starts jumping when we get down his life jacket.

Baller Mastercrafter Posted June 25, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 25, 2022 Will toss in my dog submission. This was the only time they were allowed on the boat and it did not go as well as we would have liked.

Baller Mastercrafter Posted June 25, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 25, 2022 @Rednucleus you’re right.. but they kept jumping out. Then we put their leashes around the pylon, and they still jumped out, and got dragged by their necks. Apparently they thought barefooting would work..
