A simple trick skiing question ? I’m putting a basic 1 ski trick run together , if you do a 360 front to front in a trick run is a 360 back to back scored as another , separate trick ?

You can do a surface 180 fb and bf, and reverse 180 fb and bf you will get credit. You can do a surface 360 and reverse. If you do any more surface tricks they are considered the same trick after that.

Years ago, the 360FF and BB were considered the same, but that changed sometime in the last 10-20 years. The FF and BB are now separate tricks.

180s 360s 540s 720s FF and BB are all different tricks with allowable reverses.

@Bruce_Butterfield time must be passing quickly for you. The rule change to separate and allow all surface tricks happened in 2019.

If one get No Credit for a reverse trick in the first pass can I perform only the reverse in the second pass and then get Credit? Or do I have to repete the aproved trick first before the reverse?

Reverse must immediately follow the basic trick except in the case of a trick like a wake 540 in which case a 180 can be performed before the reverse.

@gsm_peter , the answer is that you need to repeat.

If you get no credit for the base trick, the reverse becomes the base trick. You can then immediately do the original base trick again as the reverse, assuming you know the original trick was no credit. But the reverse always has to immediately follow the base trick, with the exception that the base and reverse may be separated by a 180 if necessary to perform the reverse, such as. 5front or 5back. If you do the base in one pass and the reverse in the other, the reverse is no credit.

Can you do 540B, 540F, rev 540b, rev 540F or does it have to go 540B, f, R540b, 540F, B, R540F?

@nautique1228 no. Must do a 5 then a position trick (B or F) then the reverse 5. So 5B - F - R5B.
