I remember seeing a post about ZO display and someone repairing them.

Anyone knows who?

My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance!

I've repaired a few. PM me and give me a little more detail. What boat / year and if it's just fading or the display is completely dead.

The standard LCD panel in all the Zero Off head units that I've repaired had a semi-custom LCD assembly. It's pretty similar to a standard 128x64 LCD, but it has an FFC connector directly on the LCD that's not typical. To repair them, I ordered a high quality standard 128x64 assembly that is based on the same LCD controller and fabricated an adapter to go between the LCD and the FFC cable. I also had to add a level shifting circuit for the LCD contrast control to work correctly.

I had a fading screen on a 2013 TXi. I ended up replacing and "upgrading" to the single puck. There is a guy on ski-it-again selling kits. big advantage is they come pre-programmed.

I need to get a PP multiline (current style) screen replaced. Anyone done on of those? Any idea if the same 128x64 screen would do?

I also need a ZO screen done too.

I haven't been into a PP unit in quite a while so I don't remember what screen they use. The screen used in ZO units is a semi-custom part in terms of how it connects to the ZO main circuit board. I designed and had a PCB made to allow the connection of a standard LCD to the ZO circuit board.

@motorxr glad your 7" ProStar screen is working well !
