Baller rrskier Posted September 15, 2023 Baller Posted September 15, 2023 Anyone have fin settings for 67" original Neo ski? I generally use short and deep. Front Reflex heel to ski tail is 29 7/8". Unable to keep cross course angle as compared to Ion.
Baller Dano Posted September 16, 2023 Baller Posted September 16, 2023 I ski on the NRG R2. When my bindings are too far forward I experience the same things you are. Try moving front boot back one hole or 1/4” 1
Baller skibrain Posted September 17, 2023 Baller Posted September 17, 2023 Other than stock settings?
Baller rrskier Posted September 17, 2023 Author Baller Posted September 17, 2023 All fin settings are stock except wing is 7 degrees. Our water is now 74 degrees.
Baller cruznski Posted July 31, 2024 Baller Posted July 31, 2024 Somewhere in here I saw the D3 setting chart which show long and shallow and short and deep settings for the Neo2 and the ski by size.. but the Ion is it seems just long and shallow. So in recalling an episode of Spraymakers where i think the boys said Left foot forward skiers tend to prefer short and deep then what would be short and deep for a 67" ion? More curiosity , I am skiing on an early (2020) 67" ion and it has been and still is great, the fin is very close to the settings above and has been since 2020 (.015" more DFT) . I don't adjust it hardly at all just measured it closely last outing. what is the thought between footedness and short and deep? Since it's late summer. I am interested in trying the Neo 2, per another thread.
