You could actually do this before but it was limited.

If you are on an Apple device you will see all files and everything is groovy.

If you are on a Windows or Android device you will not see videos made on iPhones unless you download them and play on your phone or desktop. Once you download the file it will play no problem. Is easier than it sounds. This post has one Android and one iPhone video clip. 

Anyway, this is easier than posting everything to YouTube.

For anyone on Windows or an Android phone if you click that link the file will download pretty fast and play locally on your device. 

If this seems stupid take it up with the people at Apple or Google. Maybe both.

FYI - Firefox plays the .mov and .mp4 both embedded on Windows and Android. Must be a chromium (Chrome/Edge) problem.

yeah I can only speculate on the compatibility. since I can't fix it and Lord knows I've looked for a tech solution, I just need to figure out how to make it easy for everybody to see each other's videos one way or another. My attitude now is if you're using a Windows or Android device, you're just going to have to download videos made on iPhones. it's just not very hard to do it. issue solved
