Baller chrislandy Posted April 24 Baller Share Posted April 24 I'm trying to give the kid some idea of how long it's going to take to learn new tricks, a friend told me there was a book once that gave a half guideline to how many falls to learn each trick. So to the many trickers out there, anybody willing to give any guidance?
Administrators Horton Posted April 24 Administrators Share Posted April 24 I have never seen a number high enough to describe my trick falls. 1 Goode ★ HO Syndicate ★ KD Skis ★ MasterCraft ★ PerfSki Radar ★ Reflex ★ S Lines ★ Stokes ★ Baller Video Coaching System Drop a dime in the can
Baller BKistler Posted April 24 Baller Share Posted April 24 I think there was one version of Al Tyll’s book that had an “attempt ratio” or some such metric. There are far too many variables to venture a number. Assuming decent coaching and decent equipment, I would tell them not to fret. Practice makes perfect and they’ll get the hang of that trick before long. If others can do it, they can too. That’s why I emphasize studying video of others. Don’t sweat it. Have fun. If you ain’t falling you ain’t trying. Then again, I still can’t do a wrap-in TO consistently. I threw out the attempt ratio a long time ago.
