  1. Second one, bit more contrast.
  2. Every time I see a vid of skitrav I am amazed at this perfect looking site he seems to be the only person who uses! Would love to get over there and see it first hand.
  3. @Greg Lukin what are you fitting it to? Where do you ski?
  4. That looks amazing, is it black or dark green?
  5. This could get ugly if we all said what we really thought.
  6. Fair enough @colo_skier.
  7. @TallSkinnyGuy sorry it used to be on there, I downloaded it off there. It will likely still be on Youtube if you search on there.
  8. Yes absolutely you can calibrate without a course, the 'capture method'. Works fine, get the video off their website. I had initially set mine up this way and had no problem with it.
  9. At least you think you're funny @colo_skier .
  10. @brody I think you are the only person in all of history to make that statement, needless to say I disagree.
  11. How will you attack this review @Horton? Will you roll out the bindings first on other skis before the Zen later? I think this is a good move by Reflex, the R-style is just not on a lot of people's list of potential new rear binders, this should at least make folks more have a look at it. I use it and think they are a fantastic idea.
  12. @drewski I switched from rear rubber boot to r-style a while back mainly for safety reasons. I don't at all like regular RTP's and I have found this is a perfect compromise. Works exactly the same as a regular RTP but added benefit of holding the heel in place. Another thread I think it was @BlueSki had a problem with it, but I've not heard of many others. It staggers me that there are people still out there who know very little about them and thus don't consider them an option.
  13. @ricski39 my 196 has that little recess, if the Malibu has one and the fibrelass guy has filled that in, then that's a pretty ordinary effort on his part. Clearly it's there for a reason, my personal view is that would be precisely be your problem.
  14. That is awesome @ToddA. Always good to know who can coach and who can't.
  15. Rip Curl nailed good wetsuits 1000 years ago.
  16. I second the 97 196 GT-40, love mine!
  17. @Than_Bogan and others who freeze over, interested to know at what temp do you switch from a dry suit to a steamer? Or if you even use a dry suit at all? We don't freeze over at all here in Oz, had a ski yesterday in 14C (57F) and that was cold enough, steamer does an amazing job to keep warm.
  18. No inverted tach necessary for the GT-40 in mine. I'm also interested in your segment times with your short setup @Rivvy when you're up and going.
  19. @ozski I like how the ad has pics of a new PROSTAR, the ad refers to a Prostar 197 (old) and the description is an X-series. That's not a dealer I'll be frequenting if I need a new boat.
  20. Spot on @auskier. I noticed the other day Peter Webb with his Spy Boats is trying to flog a new model tournament style boat. Hmmm I think not..
  21. @Horton I hope you didn't confuse "sometimes surf/wakeboard FOR THE KIDS" with me actually doing it?
  22. @ozski if you can sort out some water like that for me I'll come up.
