  1. I would certainly agree with the sound @rodecon, I have a friend with a '10 LXI which sounds fantastic.
  2. @shaneH I think I remember reading that also. So just the middle buckle wasn't it? Do you keep that neoprene on there now? I was thinking of doing something similar just to make that tight buckle more comfortable rather than feeling like it's breaking the bones in my foot.
  3. Craig I've never seen a badly reviewed ski boat in waterski mag, particularly our edition has had many known piles of rubbish reviewed as decent boats! I agree TXI's don't seem to have the same notoriety as the others, not sure why but I'm led to believe they are very nice to ski behind. I think even CP's get more coverage these days which BOS has played no small part in. In Victoria Malibu is the far and away biggest brand but Txi's are rare, Fxi and wakesetters are everywhere. I'm quite certain also that Malibu US are taking over the Aus operations from Xavier, not sure why or what it will do to prices locally.
  4. I don't know the ins and outs of ZO but I would think wind should have nothing to do with it.
  5. I'm 6'2" and 187, if I'm at 180 I'm about right. Season start here is imminent!!
  6. @skijay that is the best explanation I've read.
  7. Knotless Masterline with on order Masterline Ergo, which I'm really excited to try out!
  8. I got a Radar handle last season, never have been very happy with it. Just bought an Ergo Masterline, though hasn't arrived yet. @Than_Bogan‌ that's how I clean sunscreen off my hands, it' s the most readily available substance when at the river/lake.
  9. My brother in-laws also did the exact same thing, single line display. Nothing you can do about it, has to be replaced.
  10. Haven' tried anything else other than 422, can't imagine why you would need anything else as it does the job perfectly.
  11. Though not a skier, my wife is also a Super Mum, the amount of things she does around here whilst having a high pressure management position...I live with her and still don't know how she does it. Some of these mums out there are amazing.
  12. @TallSkinnyGuy‌ I don't know anything about the 'wake edition', I have 3 event. I don't ski shortline yet so not sure how much difference it makes, but I thought my SG 8.02 on my GT-40 worked great as soon as I put it in. It is a little hot at 1 ball but I don't notice all this surging people talk about through the course. Makes me wonder whether I'm missing something or did I just set it up correctly in the first place? End course time is spot on, though I'll have to check all ball times again soon, our season is just about to start. @GregHind‌ seems a guru and suggests latest 8.05 is good for short setups so think I'll upgrade and might consider Z-box.
  13. Your weight, height and skiing level would help!
  14. Don't know the answer to be honest, but it's a good question..
  15. Maybe you should try double vapor?
  16. @bassfooter my lead time now is Friday next week, I have a relative coming from Canada through LA airport for 4 hours and want her to bring it home to Aus with her. An expensive handle will be a very expensive handle if it isn't delivered on time. I know it will be worth it when I finally get it though. Didn't even bother with US Gear once Masterline revealed they would be making them. Also emailed Brenda about her new soon to be in production handles and she was great also.
  17. I have one on order since two weeks ago with Masterline, I think I'll be waiting a while after speaking with them yesterday..

    PP upgrade?

@Zman‌ I believe your PP Pro would be the single line display which means to upgrade you will also need to upgrade to the SG multi line display which is around $400 I think.
  19. @skibug a dual axle trailer is far better for those of us who have a decent drive to the river/lake. Much more stable and safer at highway speed if you have a blowout or do a bearing. I personally would not buy a single axle for my circumstance but understand if you live right near your ski spot.
  20. I agree Sunset Ranch looks amazing. I'd love to ski Trophy Lake also because of it's history - WR's etc.
