  1. I'm with you @skihard on all counts..though it's an uphill battle I think, Horton hates metric.
  2. I'm about to order a new liner for my LFF to fit into my Reflex. My foot is size 12 which is in between the Intuition sizing. Should I get a slightly smaller and heat/stretch or get the slightly larger which would just require moulding?
  3. 67 Prophecy 41 Tails Masterline knotless. Radar 12" handle Reflex with R-style Rip Curl boardies Radar vest
  4. I have the same setup @GaryWilkinson‌ and have had no issue whatsoever. I definitely cannot put the rear in first as the release will not go back far enough to get front boot in and I need to force that release down to get that front in but that's ok. I haven't had an OTF but have had several tail blowouts and it works great. The force generated by such is plenty sufficient to force that release open and can't even feel it on the rear toes.
  5. @Krlee Will Asher isn't using a Will Asher Pro Model??
  6. Parrish has been flogging powertools lately here in Melbourne too, gee he's everywhere..
  7. I'd love to see that! Can someone explain the amazing turnaround in his form after his switch back to Goode? Was he just really struggling to recapture the 41-43off form from a few years back or was he getting these scores and we just didn't hear so much about them? Is it purely a mental thing now combined with his obvious confidence on the Goode? OR is that XTM or whatever it is really that good of a ski? I've got no idea, just throwing it out there...
  8. Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Can't make it to Delaware...
  9. @skiboyny‌ is that a portable course? Wouldn't it be easiest to move the course a bit to straighten your ends up? I understand you may have it close to that shore for wind protection or whatever, but it's not much good like that if your boat won't run through it properly.
  10. Extremely reluctant to do so. Did it once years ago and worried about it the whole time. Would really only do it to someone I trust and even now I have hardshells probably can't be done anyway thankfully.
  11. @GregHind‌ I'm in Melbourne. Not sure whether you're familiar with Bundalong but has terrible curved set ups at both ends plus one is short, I guess this new 8.05 would help with this? I've a 97SN GT40. I'll check with Cassell Marine on price.
  12. @GregHind how much the upgrade? I think mine is 8.02.
  13. @slalom frog has been onto this, any more news @slalom frog? I see Masterline has been tweeting about the imminent release of a new product, I wonder if this is what it is...
  14. @Laz and @Than_Bogan‌ it stands to reason solar is a great idea for ski boats given it's generally a summertime activity so I agree it would be worth pursuing. However I stand by my statement that electricity is not a great idea though. I believe we all must move away from coal, I certainly don't claim to be an expert on the subject but I know enough to understand that burning dirty coal is massively detrimental to the environment, there has to be a better way.
  15. That's pretty amazing Jeff. You've done a good job with the young fella!
  16. Same height as me but a bit lighter, and I'm skinny! I've a 67 and its good for me. I'm running reflex so can't help other than to say you need to work out whether you want rubber or hardshells, there's a big difference in those options you've thrown up there.
  17. And there's nothing better than passers-by giving a cheer to the little rippers as you go past when they are starting out! Love it.
  18. Wow @horton, if this is what can happen immediately after having a kid, I'm going to convince my other half to have another one! Actually now that I think of it.... it didn't work the first two times.
  19. Same as @skier2788, I was under the impression the boot should not stay in the ski with the spring under load. I just take the boot and liner off in the boat or on the dock.
  20. Awesome @wish, when was your last PB?
  21. @laz same as electric cars (although they do build some), stupid idea which is for advertising purposes only. Completely unsustainable having to use dirty electricity to charge for four days and get 10 mins of use out of.
  22. Take time off, identify the problem and start again where you are comfortable. Worked for me recently.
