  1. A 67 is pretty huge for a 135 person. I'm 185 on a 67 and it is just right. Radar uses a standard bolt pattern, so your front binding would work. Your rear toe loop looks like an older square pattern, that wouldn't work. These radar RTP's are super comfy and really hold your foot in http://www.wakehouse.com/products/radar-adjustable-rear-toe-plate-rtp-2012.html

  3. A fin? If that is what you mean then yes.
  4. No, it is just a blank with some cosmetic issues. My personal problem with buying skis that have bindings with them is that I like a particular binding that nobody else really likes ;) So getting a ski with bindings on it doesn't really help me. Now if you don't plan on reusing your bindings then it would definitely make sense to find something that has them on it - because it is usually cheaper to buy them as a set than individual pieces.
  5. For under $400 I would look at the radar Senate (not C). I recently got a new 2012 senate for about $300 - blank. Where I bought mine http://www.wakehouse.com/products/radar-senate-slalom-water-ski-2012.html Blems: ($250) http://www.wakehouse.com/products/radar-senate-slalom-water-ski-blem.html
  6. I would get a new ski for a number of reasons. But if you want to save it, you could either drill it for inserts and epoxy them in or just epoxy the screws in - but then the bindings are not coming off.
  7. These guys seem to be claiming that they have them in stock for $570 http://www.boardco.com/shopexd.asp?id=19487
  8. @gator1 - or maybe you're not a skier if you can't monoski the bumps ;) When I'm out in CO for racing, the skis I have don't do too well in the bumps - but the snowshark works fine.
  9. I guess I started the year at zero. I'd been through a course a few times about 6-7 years ago with a full rope and a KD powercarve at maybe 25MPH - think I hit all 6 once. About 5 weeks ago I started to get the opportunity to ski a course once a week, and got a new ski. Made a couple complete 28MPH at 15 off, then sat did one at 30MPH @15 off followed by a crash at the 3 ball 32 @15 off. Only have a couple more weeks left in my season, so I won't be greedy - but I'd like to see 4 balls 32MPH @15 off
  10. @KM - apparently what is old is new again. The old Nordica Grand Prix R boots that I raced in 20 years ago had an injectable silicone liner. Most comfortable race boots I've ever had. Good to see that someone is going back to that type of system. Although reading a little more, it doesn't look like their gel flows like the old nordica system - it hardens like the old dynafit stuff.
  11. Trakker P4 is the one that we use. Haven't had any issues with it http://www.wakevideo.com/
  12. This morning we were running the course when along comes this huge wake boat with a surfer on the back. He sent some monsters into the course and then his rider dropped. Went over to talk to him for a minute and explain what we were trying to do. Real nice guy and he immediately took off for the channel to use another side of the lake. It was mostly a good morning. Skied a full pass at 28MPH 15off, then a 30MPH 15 off and then went OTF on ball 3 at 32MPH 15 off. Smacked my head and neck pretty good but it was fine. Still just learning, but it was progress for me.
  13. @wolly110 - first off, gross. But now I also understand a line in some Julia Roberts movie I saw a long time ago.
  14. We do long for water skiing come march - so you do the best you can do
  15. My son says that only a pansy needs a wakeboard boat. Any old I/O wake works fine http://www.oldjeep.com/images/Skiing/P8080031.JPG
  16. @SkiJay No problem http://cdn01.dailycaller.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/lindsey_vonn_white_bikini_ski-e1356105206160.jpg
  17. @lpskier - those are some $1 skis I picked up at a garage sale last month for the nostalgia race. I haven't even tried to fit them to my boots yet or clean up all the rust on the edges.
  18. The snowman is just waiting. Although it probably is time to start cleaning/tuning the pile. Also time to start looking for a new monoski. http://www.oldjeep.com/images/SkiStuff/P9050001.JPG
  19. @DW - what is this powder you speak of, I don't think we have an equivalent concept in MN
  20. I prefer mine solid as a rock with gates on it ;)
  21. Worst part is that around here 99 times out of 100 they are just pulling a tube.
  22. @Waternut - if you were looking for a new camera, I'd try. Go pro like functionality without the fisheye. http://store.sony.com/c/Action-Cam-Full-HD-Camcorder/en/c/S_Sony_Action_Cam As for the software - have you tried YouTubes image stabilization?
  23. I just keep my shortie, vest, and rope on a plastic hanger - gloves velcro to the handle of my skibag. Gets hung on the coathook in the back of the truck, which reminds me to take it out of the truck and hang the stuff up seperately in the garage.
