  1. Hey, I have a almost new 66" Vapor, $1280. PM me.
  2. also, the supreme wake appears to be quite small.
  3. unbelievable effort....loud applause!
  4. That is a lot of effort and quite an article for a hoax. I suppose it is April Fools. Nice work.
  5. Joel has a ton of ski in the water, right after the edge change, which means he is balanced coming off the second wake, both sides!
  6. Thanks so much. did you have a partial? what brand of hardware?
  7. I have a 2024 Vapor Pro, 66" for sale. I am getting a new knee. Ski is basically new. $1280 great deal.
  8. @r_maniak I am considering one, as anchors have been hitting our sinkable course. 1. My wife/driver is concerned about keeping the boat straight enough not to throw a wide splash. Are gates required to drive straight or can she pick a spot on far shore to aim to? 2. I am training 32/35 off at 32 mph. Is it really viable here? 3. The turn in splash seems to be too early, 188' vs 134' where 5 ball would be on an 8 buoy course, or where actual "0" ball would be. How do you handle that? 4. The "level" ideas on this thread seem to fix that problem? Has anyone heard if there is an update next year. The price is elevating significantly!
  9. For you experienced Denali skiers, which ski is the most user friendly? I am just a mid 35 off, 32 mph skier; just wanting to smooth out 32 off with more consistency and enjoy skiing and working out there. Or...is a Denali more difficult than traditional skis for us less advanced?
  10. I am a older, ugh seasoned skier, and now skiing A3 as well. It allows me to do all my "house keeping" after a turn for a later pull and A3 waits on me. However, driver technique on skier pick up is as much or more than zero off.
  11. Entrants to market; pretty difficult in our market, however, could the price point attract some buyers? Maybe 50% of what is out there? Tournament boats are so ridiculously high there is likely a lot of room.
  12. Team Radar does great, and Brooks is like a young Eddie Roberts. He was well trained.
  13. @Hortonany video of running 38?
  14. Another way to look at it is we are sitting on a teeter totter, a little change will tip it drastically one way or another.
  15. Question. The Zero ball splash I understand is 188' before 1, which seems like an odd distance, or possibly signifying the pre gate. I wonder if it splashed at where 5 would be on an 8 buoy course, that would indicate the "turn in" at Zero ball. How do you know where to turn in with such an early splash for Zero? Also, on boat level, do you have a "level" mounted to OffCourse when moving weights and balancing the boat? It sounds like a great solution and we are considering, as our sinkable course has been hit by multiple anchors since Covid.
  16. @Horton I meant back of boot, not plate, (sorry), which ultimately locates ankle bone. I see the difference in new vs old Radar boot, which now makes sense for measurement.
  17. @Horton OK, I have the old plate so maybe I am doing it correctly?
  18. @Horton I may have misunderstood boot placement. On a Radar boot, I have measured from the furthest back part of the heel, which is about a 1/2" up from the ski. It is the furthest aft or back portion of the boot or heel bulge. I measure from that part of the boot back to the tail of the ski. Is that not correct? Using that I am on a 66 and at 29 9/16. If I move the tape forward to be almost underneath the heel right on the plate the measurement is much different.
  19. The ramp may have been there but doesn't matter. For slalom is should be moved. The presence of the ramp may have determined the outcome. It is not that tough to move it over to the shore. The ramp may not matter at longer ropes, but it sure did at 43! Simply move it!
  20. I have all buoys attached with wire ties; 2 ties for boat guides, and one for skier balls. If a ski binding gets caught in a ball, it releases. Yes, I have to go back and fix it (floating course), but no one gets hurt. Maybe in this case the rope would have released with the wire tie system? I use them as "circuit breakers".
  21. Malibu is a fine boat, just has some differences. I asked in another thread, does anyone know if they made some hull changes to the 2024?
  22. her pull after each hook up has to be the best in the World!
  23. An easy way to tell if final "gearing" is similar to other boats; simply note RPM at speed, i.e. 34 mph is about 3600 RPM on a MC with no skier. So "gearing" is from transmission to prop and the end result is RPM at speed. CC has a turbulent hull philosophy, and RPM is quite high. I'm guessing the comparison is 3900 RPM for 34 MPH with no skier. Now I'm curious what Malibu's "RPM" is at speed? Haven't driven one in a while. Also, does the 2024 Malibu have any hull changes?
