  1. @Marco damn really good looking boat and trailer too!!! Agree with others that a lot of folks mis informed on boats and hours subject. I was one of them and I learned a lesson.. Purchased a 1997 MC prostar 205 w/ corvette LT1 engine with around 280 hours on it and just really good lookin and clean boat. ran fine at test drive at dealership as well as next 2 trips out then some issues came up. Got those issues fixed, ran like champ, but learned a lesson - hours are okay and a sign that boat is being used/ran. Had it for 5ish years, lucky people liked it and said if i decide to sell to call them. Sold it and went hunting and purchased 2015 TXI with 502 hours on it. My dad’s buddy has a 1996 Mastercraft Vdrive w/ corvette LT1 engine and he has over 3,000 hours on it... runs like a champ. Boats are made to last if ran and maintenced.
  2. I just joined membership and also did the personalized video assessment and Wow! He’s approach of explaining is awesome in what and how to fix is great. Watched other videos on his website for continuous learning. Will be jumping on QA soon to learn more. As others have said and I agree to join up on his site. It would be great to get some live sessions in with him, but Cali is a bit too far, I’m out in Midwest. But if my wife, kids, and I happen to vacation out that way then will make it happen. Thank you Terry @twhisper !! ??
  3. @MuskokaKy — cool. Will watch that one of Luzz. Hell yeah, one with Jamie B would be badass. He’s awesome like all the others. Definitely Manon would be great as well Regina, Whitney, also let’s take it back to Kristi Overton Johnson, Deena mapple Watched the Karina Nowlan, that was great interview.
  4. @MarcusBrown watched both of these recently. Watched your Wade Cox one couple of days ago. And just got done watching Chris Parrish one. Both amazing. I think I’m same age as you (I’m 42) and I have the Waterski Magazine when you guys (You, TW, CP) where in your teens or early 20s, all 3 of u on the cover, i think it was titled “Young Guns”...... The Terry Winter interview was awesome. What an awesome guy and skier.... Blown away on the Wade interview, hell i was getting choked up watching you and Wade getting choked up and then again when talking about AM. Wow, Wade is amazing person and one of best skiers. CP interview was awesome too. It would be great to meet you, Wade, TW, CP, Willie, Regina, Bob, shit the list goes on and on. I’m in St. Louis, MO but i need to get my happy ass to a tournament to meet all of you.... Besides that i would love to get in a boat with you or TW or Wade or CP, etc.... to get some lessons, but also watch you guys. I think it would be awesome to see camera turned around and someone interview you. Just an idea. in all these interviews, with Wade, TW, CP, Willie, Freddie, etc.... And other videos of the pros, all have same thing in common besides amazing high level skier, is everyone is down to earth great people.... I still go back and rewatch any video of you or TW, or any of you pros on YouTube to continue to get advice and try it when my wife and I take our kids to the lake to ski. My daughter (12) and son (10) are going to a waterski camp here thats about 1 1/2 hours away this summer for week long slalom ski camp. They’ve each been slalom skiing since they both turned 8. They are now at a great point to go to this camp to dial up their slalom skills. Thanks Marcus for all you do for our sport —— this History of it, present, and future... Respectfully, Moski
  5. Thank you Flowpoint/Marcus. Great talk w/ a amazing person & skier Wade Cox. He’s got a big heart, Getting choked up during his talk with Marcus. Ive always idolized him as a skier and love watching him over years watching videos of him. I idolize him as an awesome down to earth amazing guy. Great story teller, historian of waterskiing. Would love to have a few ski lessons with him, but I would really love to meet him one of these days.......
  6. @ErikBerghiller I’m excited to see this for us freeriders in big lakes, since I don’t have $$$ to build my own ski lake. Be cool to have a lake in my backyard w/ slalom course for during the weekdays after work. But nothing like being in big lake to hit other covers and other areas of a lake. Be cool to turn this portable slalom course on as we make our way back to the cabin in the evening as the water is glassy or turn on in the morning while its glassy to head out on the lake to visit coves..... I am waiting patiently.. loving the funny comments @UWSkier lol lol. And @2Valve lol.
  7. Jamie B. back in 2012. Only one foot in the trick ski. Pretty cool video. It’s starts at 2:41 https://youtu.be/hioqVQ5AjMw
  8. Yep that rings a bell. Bullseye boat sight. Yeah they work great in ski course. I’ve considered taking them off. Just curios if they would leave mark. They look like they are just stuck in with adhesive so I’m thinking no marks will present if I remove them. I’ll get a hold of the inventor of them. I go thru the course once in awhile. Then again maybe I’ll just leave them on. They do work great. Of the times going thru the ski course, My wife said she does not use them. So that’s why I’m considering taking off. Thank u got help folks.
  9. Who makes these? Thinking about pulling them off, think they would leave mark??
  10. Trying to find a ski binding that is super super easy for my dad, cousin or anyone to ski on (for a radar senate ski). I went w/ the cheapest radar prime but they had trouble getting foot in standard boot size (foot size 7-11) and their feet are 9 for my dad and 10 for my cousin. Now that I’m typing this maybe i go with a victor and go size XL (10-14 foot size) which maybe easy for them to squeeze their foot into a large boot, what do you think of this solution??? Any other boot solution? They are just cutting back and forth, nothing major or extreme slalom skiing. Again just looking for them to squeeze their foot into an easy ski binding. Thank you for help Moski
  11. Enjoying the vapor end of last year and this year. This week, 2 arrivals: Recently spoke to Radar with few questions about the Union for my wife, then bought it. Then spoke to Brooks about few things along with few folks on this site and got the senate. @brooks and Radar team - thank u. Here’s my Radar line up.
  12. I’ve had this 2016 radar 66” vapor since last year. Feeling good on this ski. Working on technique. I’m 5’8” 155lbs slim and athletic. Just got these 2 this week: 65” 2019 Radar Union for my wife and for my 12yr daughter and 10yr old son to ski on (wife was on a 64” combo ski and crappy boot and kids were on a small 1980s Connelly ski) so the 3 of them should love this. Then maybe next year or year after kids get their own ski. 67” 2018 Radar senate alloy. 2 reasons getting this. So I can go slower speed thru the course so I can really work on technique and then anyone which is usually all the time is bigger and heavier then me can use this ski (that know how much to slalom but not really going hard, just out there to swerve and spray). I’m looking forward to this weekend to try this one out at slower speeds thru course. Thank you to folks for the help and advice.
  13. Hi guys. Please educate me. What does the guard protect or prevent?
  14. @quinne —- Congratulations!!!!!! Ive also tried to reply to your PM but it wont let me. Congrats on the boat for you and your family, pretty boat. Good to year the underwater lights are factory installed, knew you were nervous about that if they were aftermarket install. Agree with others - u should also join the forum malibucrew.com. Man o man - i remember the feeling (pure excitement) like yesterday when i bought my 1997 MC prostar 205 in 2012. Then the feeling (little sad) of watching it being sold and pulled out of my driveway in 2017, then month later the feeling (pure excitement and joy) of buying my 2015 Malibu TXI. Congratulations again! That’s awesome and pretty boat. Happy skiing!!!

    Kids slalom ski?

@escmanaze - you are correct. She is a bit more advanced then him. What’s a TRA?? Sweet. Be glad to hear from @Bruce_Butterfield too. I don’t know how to put videos up on this site. Guess YouTube is way to post a video, I’m trying to figure out YouTube account. Let me know of other ways on to do that....
  17. Ideas for a kids ski at their level? Think I can get away with a ski that they can use together?? They each have summer birthdays. Daughter turned 12 in July - left foot forward. Son turned 10 in June - right foot forward. They both weigh around 65 lbs. pulling both around 26mph. Right now they are on old late 1980s kids Connelly ski. Mainly open water skiing but there is a ski course that we head to and play in it. Next summer I’m going to send both of them to a week long ski summer camp. Here ar Well videos are not attaching. Here are picture of each. Need to figure how to attach videos. Maybe I’m putting too much thought on this. But just like to get a ski that will help them improve and also that they can grow into next few years, we have 2-3 more trips before we have to put boat away, maybe wait to get on till next spring.
  18. @Garn and @escmanaze — although if the HO free ride allows her to ski longer, smoother turns etc..... then maybe just maybe she will get more aggressive and then we dial it up a notch ?. Lol. Thank u guys.
  19. Thanks guys. Think I’ll go with the HO freeride. Thank you for advice and sharing your experiences with the ski.
  20. Damn. Thank u guys. Solid feedback as always from each this group. Thank u guys for advice on this. @Garn - thank u for the details. I’ll look over the evo. i don’t see her getting more aggressive and seems like she is fine at her speed. I’ll chat with her to see which ski to go with. She will probably say dont spend the money ? on a ski for her but if it’s easier for her level to ski then all the better. If the free ride will allow smooth turns and less drag then maybe it’s the one for her.
  21. Anyone been on one of these? I’m considering getting my wife a 65” HO free ride. Currently she skis on a a 64” combo ski (slalom). Looks like this HO free ride might be a bit easier and it talks about less drag versus combo skis, easier to slalom ski with, etc..... I pull her around 26-28mph and just open water skiing...... Thank you in advance for info, Moski
  22. @BCM — no I don’t plan shot putting them lol @skihacker - thank you @hchwilson — lol lol — have you tried bolting down a bowl and then fill it up with food on the observer side to keep him their hahahahaha @Kwoody51 —- think ill be going his way and the others on it..... Thank you all for advice. Much appreciated.
