  1. We have 2 portable stainless courses installed permanently on our river. Each end of stainless mainline is anchored with cement rings that they use for sewer caps. Course is held on bottom with bungees attached to cinder blocks. Balls are held on with adjustable bungees as the depth of river fluctuates. Balls are left in all season. We have not broke any of the pvc arms that go to the turn balls but we are constantly replacing or adjusting balls as MISkier said. On busy weekends other boats will run over balls and cut the line. Or pull the pvc arm and move cinder block before cutting line.
  2. @disco83 Love the name. Gave me fond memories of the Discos on Mannheim rd in Stone Park IL back in the late 70`s early 80`s
  3. I've never been on Facebook and never will. I thought it was just for woman. LOL
  4. Been suffering since the 60's. What an exciting heart wrenching world series that was. Here's a pic of me waiting for tickets opening day 1973 I'm the short guy in the middle no hat and long hair. Check out the ticket prices.
  5. Pulled both courses this past sunday in Northern Illinois. @Tdub I think we have a sporting event to watch that should keep our minds off skiing for at least a week.
  6. Theres a guy on ski it again who has a 2011 66 strada. Listed it on 8/28 for $249 he is down to $199 now.
  7. Found mine on searchtempest it searches craigslist all over the country. Was looking for someone who wanted to trade a ski boat for my harley straight up. Found a guy in New york who had a mint 1996 supra ts6m with a gt40 with 260 hours. He trailer the boat to Illinois. We tested it. Had pizza and beers. Gave him some gas money. Paid for his room for the night and the uhaul trailer to take my 2002 springer softail back to NewYork
  8. I get the VR1 straight 40w from napa. They usually only have 1 partial case if that. If they dont have enough they order another case from their warehouse and I pick it up the next day
  9. Ski from May to October. Would go a lot more if I could find a regular partner early afternoons during the week. But not too many people that ski work nights like me. Have a semi retired friend who doesn't ski anymore and will pull me once in a while. Have a regular group on weekends.
  10. 52 degrees right now should be 56 in an hour when I ski. Probably have another month. Already signed up for fall winter hockey league.
  11. @Mitzysman This one came up if your still looking http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/boa/5765993533.html
  12. Maybe they read the book my wife wrote. 1001 excuses not to try waterskiing or learning to drive a boat. Lol
  13. I wear contacts. Tried prescription goggles didn't like. What works best for me is keeping eyes shut till I'm up.
  14. If you took the cable off the brass L bracket. Would you be able to spin the bracket 180 degrees around? From the picture it looks like it would hit. Also that pp cable needs to be more inline with that throttle cable some how some way. Thats most likely your problem.
  15. Im on a 2013 alloy senate and around the same level as you. Skiing 30 mph at 15 off made a few passes at 22 off. My goal is also to get up to 34 mph before season ends. I thought about upgrading ski`s. Then I thought its me not the ski. In my opinion I dont think it would make that much of a difference to justify the extra $$. When I start running shorter passes at 34 mph then I might think about a new ski.
  16. Found this 99 in Michigan grandrapids.craigslist.org/boa/5721413137.html
  17. I hope the weather cooperates. Last year it misted all saturday. As of now there showing rain all day saturday with a chance of severe storms. Any chance they would move finals to sunday if it was a washout?
  18. @Wish search flexbar in forum. http://goo.gl/au4H4x
  19. When mine was bothering me a few years ago I purchased a flexbar as recommended here from other ballers. Worked well for me.
  20. Awesome barefoot boat. I used to have a 95. It was a little rocket with 1 tracking fin and one of the smallest wakes you`ll ever see.
  21. Here's another 93 205 in Ohio http://goo.gl/ekytWb
  22. This isnt too far from you and has a decent wake. Cant tell what shape its in. I guess the seller wants to show how many people can fit in it. https://goo.gl/MPWsR3
