  1. @Bill22 You got that right about finding a old or used one. Ive been looking for 2 years for my 96 supra ts6m. You can get a better price if your a USA waterski memeber at skier to skier. A guy on here a little while back said he called perfect pass for him and two of his buddies. And he sounded like they gave him an unbelievable deal. I wonder if we could get a group buy through perfect pass?
  2. Selling my acme 541 prop I bought the end of last season $325 shipped. http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Propeller&postid=31780
  3. @rodltg2 Me too. I got the hair stylist.
  4. Funny stuff if you have not seen yet
  5. Might try the oj force 13 x 13 four blade. It will lower rpms possibly making prop wash softer.
  6. Just got off the phone with Eric at Oj. Told him some people experienced the 4 blade prop softened there hump a little over their 3 blade. He agreed it could but didnt recommended which 4 blade. Just told me which 4 blades would work on my boat. I can choose between 1215 force 13x13 or the cnc xmp 402 12.5x12 First one he recommended was the force 13x13 I would imagine because I was running the 3 blade legend 13x13
  7. Im going to give OJ a call today and see what 4 blade they recomend. I bought the prop from Nettles who also sells Oj props. Maybe I can work something out with them. If not I will put it up for sale.
  8. Anyone have any experience with this 4 blade prop. 13 x 12.125 LH The end of last season I purchased acme 541 3 blade 13 x 12 LH I was running OJ legend 13 x 13 on my 96 supra ts6m HO GT40 Nothing wrong with the oj but figured I could use a spare and read rave reviews about the new 541 cnc prop. I am not too impressed with it over my old oj. Top end same as oj. Rpm same as oj. Oj had stronger pull out of hole. Acme was smoother. Acme made my wake harder. Called acme and they recommended the 651 as it being a version of the 541 but in a 4 blade. Wouldnt guarantee it would soften my wake but said sometimes the 4 blades do. I know I would lose top end. But that doesnt matter. If anything. I will be putting the old OJ back on this year.
  9. I have a 96 supra ts6m comp on a lift on the river. Friend I ski with during the week has 02 malibu response on a lift on the river also. I usually get out with him 3 times a week. We skied behind my boat once last year when his was in the shop. I jokingly called him a big sissy that never wants to ski behind my boat. He said. I dont hear you complaining much about it. I smiled and handed him the full 5 gallon gas can that I brought. I use my boat on weekends with another friend or if my malibu buddies not around.
  10. @Shakeski yes a dam further south in the town of St charles. We can boat north of dam at rt64 for about 4 miles before it gets to shallow to make it to the next dam in South elgin. We have 2 courses we maintain.
  11. North of dam in algonquin you can boat all the way up into the chain of lakes. South of algonquin dam are many dams and shallow non boatable areas. We have about a 5 mile stretch in St charles between dams with 2 courses.
  12. @6 balls lower fox is south of algonquin. I ski the lower fox in St charles IL
  13. @Wayne Now I know how to hang my ski in the garage and tweek fin setting at the same time.
  14. @thager‌ years ago I got done skiing in my Sahara drysuit. Me an bud are wiping down boat and he leaves. Not thinking I still have drysuit on and can't unzip it. I'm wandering around in my front yard looking for someone to help when a lady comes running up chasing a pitbull she's watching. She grabs dog by leash and it drags her down my gravel driveway cutting her legs up. I grab the pitbull for her bring it back to house and kindly ask her to unzip my drysuit.
  15. There are a few videos on youtube that give tips on getting them on and off
  16. @wish those used pp systems are harder to find then you think. I watched ebay and ski it again since spring. Never found near to a complete system for my 96 supra ts6m by the time you piece one together with used and new parts it's not much cheaper then buying a new stargazer
  17. 1996 supra ts6m comp 489 hours gt40. Great boat. I would use it more but the guy I ski with during the week has an 02 response lx and rather ski behind his. I dont argue. I love his wake
  18. I wish Marc Trestman was still coaching in the CFL instead of our Bears. LOL
  19. At the end of video where your jumping. The sound of the boat made me do a double take. I new that rumble sounded familiar. Sure enough was a sexy supra like mine.
  20. I usually use regular home carpet shampoo in a spray bottle and scrub brush. I learned the iron trick when our 25 year old moved out. She spilled a bottle of red Mikes hard lemonade on the light carpet in her room and never cleaned it up. I tried everything to get it out. Thought I was going to have to replace the carpet. Took me about an hour with the iron. It was a large spot. But it eventually lifted out.
  21. For tough stains take a white terry cloth rag. A bowl or bucket with water and dishwashing liquid. Soak the rag in the liquid. Wring out rag. Put rag over stain. Take a hot iron and iron the rag with a lot of pressure not moving too much till almost dry. And repeat as often as you have to. You will see the stain lift into the rag. It takes a while because you have to do small areas at a time. But I have gotten stains out this way that nothing else would get out.
  22. SkiDim carries a few. You also get 10% off if you use code Malibu http://www.skidim.com/products.asp?dept=1156&val=0&pagenumber=1
  23. Rounding up ballers 1 bouy at a time.
  24. My 96 supra ts6m is all fiberglass. But I often wonder how much foam is in there. And if its soaked. Weighing the boat down. At the end of the year when I winterize. I suck all the water out of bilge area. Which is right above the area of the hull that drops down in front of tracking fins. A screw hole from old bilge would keep letting water back into area after I sucked it all out. So I drilled out the hole big enough to attach a tube to the shop vac and suck it out from that lower area. And put a plug in it. At the end year its filled with water.
  25. @oldjeep The stretch wrap is a great idea. I use it for a lot of things. Never thought of that though.
