Is everyone realizing the whole pylon is at a 10 degree angle from the floor to the top. It is not straight 90 degree. So no mater what kind of mount you put on top of a slide over pylon. (pvc, skidoc, easycam). You can put a wedge on top. You can put a tripod mount on it. Now adjust your camera to get skier directly behind boat. If you left it right there it would work. Now if your going to use the pvc, skidoc, ezcam to rotate on the pylon using the rope as a guide to follow skier cutting back and forth. The camera will angle higher when swiveled left or right on angled pylon. Directly behind boat will be fine. On our angled pylon you need a mount that clamps on and the pivot or swivel point must be above or independent from angled pylon guided by the rope. If I am missing something please correct me.
