  1. Does that 25k for skydiving include a plane, or do you go somewhere and pay per jump? Do you get a new parachute each year? Im not trying to stir anything, but have 0 clue how that works, most people when they look at skiing (at least high end) are factoring new ski every 2-3 years, with parachutes, do they change things to make one better than the other? I have several friends who are really into it with 1k + total jumps, but I dont think they have spent close to 25k, maybe they have and thats why they are always to broke to do fun things with our group of friends now.
  2. that was from us here! hahah Glad we were able to help hope you enjoy the ski!
  3. KOD tries to get people who dont know about the sport to come watch from the neighborhoods outside of the site..
  4. if thats Canadian its 6$ more that what its costs in the US.
  5. https://www.red.com/v-raptor-xl-black?quantity=1&vxlpackage=4 that's 50k alone right there, not including what ever extra mounts / set up needed.
  6. looks like @lpskier won? just waiting to get confirmation from @Horton and ill get you squared away.
  7. Used to have a thread with the old photos of womens skiers, does any still have those, and would you be able to post them here, or email them to me? working on something and dont have any of them like I thought I did.
  8. sounds like they got the new RED 8k Camera for the boat then?! pretty excited as it should be crystal clear and slow-mo *shouldn't be pixelated at all! Regardless, TWBC guys do an amazing job, and its always nice when im at work to watch / listen...I can honestly say for Masters I only tune in when friends are up. To many Ad reads for them IMO
  9. I agree with you, its not like water skiing is this huge sport, I could see this being more of an issue for hockey/basketball ect. Stuff that is really on a global level. *that more than a few thousand people watch* I have not kept up with this as I should have but i know some of the skiers from Belarus are now skiing as USA, which is great that they are still able to ski, but they should not have had to do that IMO, just like Igor should be able to ski any event.
  10. Nothing to worry about, it happens more often than you would think.
  11. I didn't see where it was invite only? Just like all the LCQ you have to meet the qualifying scores? I could be wrong, but that's kind of the point of the LCQ right?
  12. The sad thing, is the masters is no longer that prestigious event, it used to be that you had to ski all year to get an invite...now you have to just qualify for it, no invites so its not long the "top skiers" it is who ever qualifies for it.
  13. Thanks for the reviews @Sivota! And @Dsully I will pass it along to Danielle as well! Everyone here appreciates all of you for shopping with us, and of course all the ballers know they can email me at anytime, right now my email is getting a bit backed up as we are shot staffed so I am finding myself on the phone / on the floor a bit more, which is a nice change of pace. Hope to see some of you at Nationals/Worlds!
  14. ill say this about Jeff, I have never struggled to pull someone as much as him. He is so strong so if he gets late at all, he will man handle the boat.
  15. Got to also make sure its good for hurricane season if your dock floods, that boat wouldnt be good floating around in the dock! I have never seen this in FL, but I have seen them further North. Always wanted one it seems so cool!
  16. (813) 681-4441 is that the number they called? Sent some people that way to wakeboard the other day and it was packed.
  17. it varies where you are shipping, as they typically do the DIM weight of the box, not what the item actually weighs, because of space it takes up. Shipping to EU can be anywhere from 150-400$ for us, and thats which an account that ships a lot. So it does not surprise me, however I would take it to a store and see what they say.
  18. Can i borrow the time machine?? Smart phones a Century ago? Hahaha
  19. Its the same for Fins, Skiing has become such a mental sport, that the issue is "rarely the skier"(Sarcasm)
  20. Ski Nautique, not many, but Nautique in general tons, with all the wakeboard boats for sure.
  21. Buy your plane ticket as early as possible, splitting a room is cheaper, or looking at Air BNB compared to hotels sometimes. But typically the earlier you are able to book the cheaper it should be. IDK if you will want to camp, in the past its usually very humid/hot and nothing beats the cold AC after the day...well maybe a cold beer during the breakdown each day in my case.
  22. TBH thats perfectly fine, so many people will say they can tell a difference, and i know some people that do. Yet I have also been in the boat when my dad "adjusts" the fin...AKA didnt move anything and they say it skied way better. I was also talk to keep it with .004 and it was good to go, he always told me the only real numbers that mattered were the first to (.XX00) Such as a fin needing to be 2.345 in depth if I got 2.341 or 2.349 would be ok. Over the years I have gotten to where I can get them exact. But unless hes is a deep 38/39 skiier being .003 off you should be just fine.
  23. I always see the pre release videos, and they are always on the newer style of the release, I never saw my dad come out, but he used an older release and never moved to the new one, never really said why, but he also kept his so tight I dont think he would have released on a bad fall.
  24. This would be fun to watch. Or another, to allow say a Junior skiers to ski against a pro.
