  1. So this is a random tournament that they don't want the pros at? Just another way to make money for the site? Or any reason no "Pro" skiers to compete?
  2. I believe @Wish won, just waiting for @Horton to confirm, and ill get the ball rolling on this.
  3. it looks like it would be a fun boat to just rip around in also
  4. late cut, hit the side of the ramp. He still tricks, he lives the West coast life now though.
  5. pretty sure he missed his 41 gate...no credit he also more than likely would have spun it back lol
  6. Driver wins. hes done pulling them. But really it should be skier B as he got the continuation. That would be who should win from the average person watching on shore who doesnt know the rule book IMO
  7. So he was almost a pro skier, because he tried it? Or did he compete and won a lot? I'm just confused what they are considering a pro skier?
  8. how much padding is on the end? one hard TSA drop and your nose/tail are taking a beating, or at least thats what I see in this phone is it just slid in, or is it stretched?
  9. My favorite ski, and graphic of all time. My moms first "pro model" it was also my ski of choice for a long time, and I had / have the matching trickski!
  10. We have gotten lots of good buzz and feed back from the guys I have put on the Works to demo here in the shop, Just waiting for some of you northerners to thaw out and start buying some.
  11. Probably "free" sponsorship is so loosely thrown around now, getting hooked up with free gear is what most of the young ones get, I cant speak for anyone of course, but it builds the brand loyalty early which is a smart move for sure.
  12. Only the 2023 would work with the Reflex type system if thats what you mean, I see other people have mentioned it. I have not seen MOB mentioned but, I sadly cannot remember the username on here, hopefully someone can chime in and tag him.
  13. I can change based on how fast you are going, the Radar Senate / Union are good choices, the HO OMNI line is also a great choice, If you will spend more time open water the slightly wider union can help, but if you want to ski the course and some open water the Omni / Senate would be my recommendation. What most people do when they ski shorter lines when free skiing they do that because they dont hold an edge through the wake long enough and "feel the bump" at the longer line you will learn line control much better that will help when you are at shorter lengths also.
  14. I would love to chat with you if you have any questions on skis, the one thing I will touch on is the rubber boots, can last longer, due to be able to replace parts, instead of the whole boot, however the newer boots, IE Vector, Stance are a bit more comfortable, that being said I know plenty of people still use rubber boots. The cost of Rubber boots however is sky rocketing quick. It does really come down to personal preference, of what you like. We at Performance Ski and Surf have been around since 1989, I have been in the industry my whole life, and been involved in making/RnD of skis for as long as I can remember, but we also want to make sure if you buy from us you are happy. I dont ship demos, but if you were to buy two skis, and can use them for up to 30 days and send the one back you dont like and get a refund*** the only part on this is if the ski is beat up we can prorate a return, but if you want to talk about this please give me a call anytime at the shop 407-859-7544 and if I am not there for some reason / busy Danielle or Joe are two sales staff on the floor that know plenty about skis as well. Or feel free to PM me or shoot me an email, as sometimes I miss PM on the site.
  15. I vote all white, and get it wrapped crazy.
  16. I once heard of someone at Trophy who ran a boat up onto shore on the second lake years ago, which made me nervous when I had to drive it...I still pucker up a bit in some turn islands, ESP when pulling a jumper on those long ropes haha.
  17. Great Looking boat tho..wonder who actually owns it.
  18. 🤣 I hated when he wrote notes for anything and I had to read. if he was really thinking you could barely read it sometimes I put to many to remember, even when I was younger, but to this day, the hardest person I have ever driven is either Tom Brantley, or Jeff Rodgers, both are strong as Bulls, and no matter how late they got the pull on the boat was crazy. A few times for Parrish he almost yanked me around.
  19. Unfortunately I am not giving any numbers that are from his notebooks to anyone. Ive read thru them all and have either decided to digitize some, or burn the others. You could reach out to Radar to see if they have some numbers for you however, Or Kris Lapoint as the only original T3 without the changes Kris input is sat in my room right now, or at least that is how it is supposed to be.
  20. Time...that's really the only thing, I have been fortunate enough to be driving 39 and deeper since I was around 11/12 so I dont really remember what i was taught other than getting yelled at if it wasn't in time / swerving to much. It takes time to learn and the more you pull someone the easier it is to sync up with them, while they are learning do not try to do the hardest passes run some easy ones, so they can get into a groove.
