  1. This would have been during my college time, so im pretty sure he was not really skiing, just a lot of biking and golf, and minimal skiing to answer hortons question of where was my dad during that time.
  2. what year did jeff do this? It might have been the 4 year span he didnt ski what so ever and was on the golf course everyday instead? Or he may still have been at 36
  3. you would think they would do some sort of research though?
  4. its not in wakeboards, its in vest / inflatable's that they sell to bass pro shop lol
  5. That is one thing that the hovercraft is not, its great to get people up and pretty much go straight, I tell people in the shop all the time, Ive taught football linemen how to get up on it (never combos straight to this) but if you want to go more the course route, the Radar Session, or a little bit narrower the Terrain is the way to go. Then on the other hand if you just want to go with more of a course ski that is easy to get up on, Radar also does the union which is wider than the senate, but a more traditional construction (flex wise). Above that would be the Omni/Senate which are on paper comparable skis, Its like Nike/Adidas preference wise I can go into way more detail if you want, Im here at the shop from 10am-5pm EST.
  6. @DW message me your name / email / phone number and ill get it sorted!
  7. Without a doubt the hovercraft is the easiest to get up on, then the Session from Radar, is the easiest to learn the course on.
  8. Did you guys have a christmas ski? I miss that tradition, no matter the weather, we were in the water, even if it was just a jump off the end of the dock and swim to shore lol.
  9. Id go with 200 Pro star everything else.. But I am biased as my dad had a huge part in the 200, but I prefer to drive the prostars / like the looks of it more.
  10. We sell a good amount of them, and I have used one to take skis all over the world and never had an issue with mine. I ended up giving mine to someone as I don't pack mule skis anymore.
  11. Hey @Slalom.Steve Send me a pm with your name, email, and Ill get the gift card headed your way.
  12. Hey guys, Just wanted to put it here to, just for today Im doing my 15% off gift cards as well!
  13. My dad loved 4 buoy courses, we have two of them on the lake, and two, two buoy courses that were just for working on gates, and they ran back to back. I also remember my dad teaching me that hip slide as a kid, it was always a fun party trick. Also for anyone who noticed, he pulls his back foot out as he starts the slide, to be able to help him get back up.
  14. I guess Im more around Pro events, not as much the grass roots, so Im used to them having food trucks / Beer vendors. Not as much for the skiers, but for the spectators mostly. But I also agree with if the site owner says no beer it is what it is.
  15. Is this just your stance or is this an actual rule? Ive been to my fair share of tournaments were beer was involved as a vendor, not just in someones truck, I get not drinking until you are done skiing for the day.
  16. I have not sorry! Been a busy week at the shop with people calling out, have been spending most of my time on the phone or up front~ @MISkier shoot me a PM with you full name / email and ill get that headed your way!
  17. also its easier to make a ski feel shorter, but never longer.
  18. Hey Guys, figured I would just keep it short and sweet, we started our Demo sale today. https://perfski.com/collections/demo-skis Some pretty solid deals! You can also call the shop if you are needing anything else!
  19. since the new site, im not just a BALLER_ no longer an industry professional, so idk if he can hook me up anymore. lol🤣
  20. I have that super sweet _ next to my baller so I cannot win it sadly, but i will continue to try!
  21. Most important part. Edit: to add to this, I can not tell you how many people I watched tell my dad they needed the fin adjusted and he just turned around and did nothing but told them he did something and they went and skiied better. Dont get me wrong fin settings do make a change, but 80% of people are just telling them selves it will be better / worse. And iim sure most of you will say "oh I can tell" But I also know people who skied with him here that I know 100% he didnt touch a fin and then after the pass they said it felt much better. I think Mentally being open to a new ski/setting, what ever it might be is the most important part.
  22. @The_MS Congrats, shoot me a PM with you full name / email and ill get that headed your way, sorry for the delayed response was at worlds all week but Ill get it going ASAP for you!
  23. anything you cut will fray some, I used to have a black tech full that I cut the arms off to make it a short sleeve, just wish I could still fit into it! lol
