@hemlock I kept looking under menu/up menus...I will check that one. It is 9.12 I believe. I couldn't find anything in my manual on it.

I think the statements here come in two flavors... I know him and I think he is being treated unfairly or I saw enough law and order episodes to know what happened. Good for you Horton for having no sacred cows, and I don't envy the tight rope you walk here some days. Keep up the good work!

One of the guys we ski with keeps a bent handle in the boat. I hate it. It feels weird.....and I usually ski really well with it, which is even more annoying :)

Went from the 17 to the 22. Both feel like Corvettes...the 17 feels like a 1968, the 22 feels like a 22. Both fast, both powerful, both fun...but the new one feels more refined

I think everyone has the Covid bucket list that they finally say...screw this, I am tired of saying 'some day', I am just doing it. For me it was to head to Coble's with my family. My daughter was less than enthusiastic as she hadn't really skied but maybe 3 times on a single ski and was nervous. My wife was doing the obligatory 'if it means that much to you', and my son will pretty much do anything with other kids, but only pushes his skill levels so far. We left with some great lessons on and off the water. It isn't 'just' a ski camp. On the skiing side though, my wife left finally feeling what it feels like to get a ski on edge and is moving to safer wake crossings. My son increased a full pass and went from only riding over the jump to hitting it at 30mph and wanting to become a Jr. counselor next season...and my daughter... I told her before we left if she ran the mini course (remember, had only been up on a single ski like 3 times) we would stop at Hershey 'on the way' home and I would get her one of those giant chocolate bars. How did it go? Let's just say, this is the biggest smile I have ever seen on her face :) It is a great group they have down there!

Was at the marina yesterday...guy pulls in with a brand new Super Air Nautique and gets the cheap stuff. I thought maybe he had the 5.3, but he let me know it had 450hp. It's like getting a trophy wife and giving her a walmart gift card to pick out her ring. I will be over here in the sexist smoking section waiting for my Panda.

1. The TRA might be the best value in waterskiing. 2. The WWC is a great organization, they are hosting an adaptive ski day this week and partnered with me on Swaterski, the event that raised about $15k to fight brain cancer. You failed as a parent (I too am a boarder with a ski racer kid(s)) but you are knocking it out of the park as a person.

This may be a DUMB idea, but we have talked about growing the sport and the accomplishment vs everyone gets a trophy thing ad-nauseum. I was thinking about how we could make stickers for waterskis for PBs, kind of like the helmet stickers for football. Seemed easy enough, but then I thought about how many different stickers we would need. Anyway, this is the idea... Another way to think about it would be those running stickers of which my favorite is still 0.0

@C5Quest I think until you get into shortline the angle on the gopro isn't very useful. I tried it at 15 off and it was just so far away, you couldn't do anything. I think @UWSkier has some good advice.
