  1. @savaiusini Thanks for the quick reply. That ski is looking better and better. Thanks again. Your company support seems top shelf.
  2. @savaiusini Will my D3 Tfactor boot and RTP fit the Superlite CX?
  3. Thanks @savaiusini I am considering that SL cx. Thanks again. I am currently skiing a D3 Helix. Great ski...just too much for me.
  4. Damn auto correct!!! Superlite.
  5. Sorry for the spelling. I meant Supernate CX
  6. I was going to place the order today for the Radar but can't quite push send yet. I am a 66 year old guy that skies at 32mph and and gets into 28 on occasion. Not being near a pro shop skiing on either is not an option. I was sold on the Senate but after reading some reviews on the HO I am not quite so sure. I realize any input is very subjective but I would appreciate some alway. Thanks in advance.
  7. Ha...yeah, I borrowed that suit. A little large for me, but stylish at the time. My face still hurts when I watch that. I remember being in that American Skier and thinking how am I going to convince my wife to let me buy a real ski boat. At the time I had a Glastron that I put a pylon on. She was driving in Sandusky Bay and while I was making a turn on an old EP the pylon mount sucked right through the gunnel. Left a big hole. Not a happy wife. But we did purchase an '87 Nautique and 30 years later still in the sport. Both my sons were on their college ski teams and we have a nice site to ski. The above video was taken in the Huron River just south of Huron, Ohio. We are all so fortunate to be involved in this great sport and the lifestyle it brings with it.
  8. Even though I skied quite a bit before, this was my first session in a real ski boat. An American Skier in '86. Someone said..."Ya wanna learn how to barefoot? " it hurt but from that day on I loved the people, the sport, and everything about this great sport. Five Nautiques later and still can't wait to get on the water. I found this clip and just had to share. Not the proper way to learn but back then who cared. https://vimeo.com/174236936 Cheers. Tom
  9. Good question. I need to find that out as well.
  10. Thanks to all. These forums are informative and fun. Keep up the great work @Horton
  11. Purchased some Spray Nine. It worked VERY well. Then some Mothers VLR. Vinyl looks new.
  12. Mother's VLR works great too. I love Babe's stuff but shipping costs are a problem. Cannot find any around these parts.
  13. Thanks @Wayne That is great advice.
  14. Ball times are all good. Maybe making something out nothing. I know the boat has to speed up and slow down to get good times. Is going over 35mph too much?
  15. Thanks @Chef23 I will get that email address to you. Cheers. Tom
  16. I am going with a "Profile" boot. But what size? I wear a 10 1/2 shoe but the boot comes in either 10 or 11. I don't want to screw up here so any recommendations? I currently us a D3 large Tfactor and love it. I have never used a closed toe boot before so I would like some input from the forum. Thanks to all.
  17. I upgraded to Stargazer a couple years ago on a 2004 SN 196. It seems like the system works very well but I am curious how much the speed should fluctuate during a pass. Times are always right on the money but as I watch the speedo I noticed that the speed can increase up to 35.5 mph and go as low as 33.2 during a pass. I realize the the system must make up time during a pass but is this normal and is there a way to soften this increase and decrease? Just curious I guess. Cheers. Tom
  18. Thanks to all. I have used Babe's products before. You are correct. great products and great company. That is the route I will take. Thanks to all. Cheers. Tom
  19. Thanks for the ideas. I am going to give Totally Awesome and Spray Nine a shot ( pardon the pun ). I will let you folks know how it goes. Thanks again.
  20. I have a 2004 SN 196. The best boat ever. Never a problem. I maintain it well but we do use it. 786 hours. The vinyl is getting that yellowish look, not bright white like when it was new. I have tried many cleaners but haven't found the one that really works. Any favorites?
  21. Thanks again for all of the input. I am going to pull the trigger on the Senate Lithium. It seems like the "Profile" boot is the way to go. Is the mounting different than a traditional boot? Looks different. Also the hybrid RTP looks interesting but I have always used a traditional RTP so I am somewhat skeptical with the hybrid. Any final comments would be great. Thanks to all for the info. Cheers. Tom
  22. Wow...thanks for all the info. I currently have a D3 T-factor on my Helix and I like it a lot. Does that have the same hole alignment as the Senate Lithium just in case I don't like what ever boot I decide to order? Most skis are the same now, correct? Not having a pro shop nearby, it is tough for me to try anything. Is the Profile a Radar boot? Thanks again.
  23. Made my decision and going to a more forgiving ski. Age is creeping up on me. A 67 inch Senate Lithium will be ordered soon. I see there are Vector boots and Prime boots. I am not that aggressive, 32mph, 28 off. What would be the best Radar boot? I also use a RTP. Any help will be greatly appreciated from you folks in the know.
  24. So the HO CX Superlite looks good. Any other suggestions?
