Once I was staying at the same time at the same hotel with Clémentine Lucine and few amateurs skiers including me got luck to be coached from the boat by the Champion. FOC by the way )) She made me to return back all "adjustments" saying: " Nothing could be better for amateur skier than factory settings". It worked out very well )))) Ski was Senate.

Almost stopped using shorts for skiing. In colder days I use neo shorts, in warmer days I use swimming jammers - it is super comfy. I am toooo adult to care about style ))) Although when I need to match surrounding skiers and there is a beach bar next to starting dock I use Camaro stretch shorts - IMO it is top standard for skiing shorts.

I will check my old corespondence with Camaro concerning their product and if it is still available will tell about an anecdotal and shameful story.

@mike_mapple I paid by PayPal. After this vendor informed me that some items are not in stock and we agreed that they cancel order and deposit money at my customer's account and when i decide to make another order I can use this deposit. All of this in my mailbox. I was sure they did and not worried. When I visited my account I did see that order is not canceled and still in the status of "processing". For 9 months! ))) After I failed to reach them I asked PayPal for refund but PayPal answered that it is too late... Some people are suggesting me to waste time and money for endless intl. phone calls talking with god knows who instead of sleep or having rest after work or sitting in the bar with friends ... why should I ? I already got enough! End of story!

Any recreational piece of land which is bigger than tennis court, sooner or later goes out of control and brings a problems. Unless it is by 100% yours. Or, as an option, is located on your private island )))

@mike_mapple Yes I always check spam. Soon I will "clean books" to return balance to Zero. After that I will reorder from Perfski which never failed me. )) My fault was that I missed date of PayPal request to return payment. Good lesson. Sorry ballers for bothering you with private matters ?

@unksskis I was in contact with Adam Lunding Johansson. Is this who you are talking about? What happened to him? Hope he is personally Ok? I order from the same list of online shops - they all are great (except this particular case)

@ScottScott this is not just pointing the finger to hurt somebody. But, how can I solve a problem if nobody answers? I did send them a dozen of emails, I sent emails from my address which is my login to my MSN account - no reply. I sent them emails from my Gmail account - no reply. My order #38498 in the status "Processing" since December of last year. So, if I do not have a possibility to talk by the phone, I should say farewell to $555,82 ? I am ready to make another order for this amount, but how? They do not have disclaimer like this: "Mute skiers are not served here!" ?

In fact I received several orders from MSN with no issues, they were always helpful and friendly, but something went wrong this time. I brought up this thread because I used all means of communications but phone. I am 10 thousands km away, 8 hours of time difference and my level of spoken english does not allow me to speak freely american english, I agree - its shame )) Just in case - if MSN is here: could you please check order 38498, it "hangs" in system from 09/12/2020. The simplest remedy - "kill" the order and move payment to user account, when I'll see it I will make new order, as simple as that! My apologies for using BOS for personal issues, but this is my last resort ))

Glad to hear. Though they do not answer emails sent both from account address and others. They hold payment for order that was never shipped and do not give an opportunity to make another one using this money. Sorry for this post, MSN! I am sure this is just a technical problem! @logan_g before you get from Radar spare lock for your upper laces you can keep on using them same way like you tie the shoelaces in your regular shoes. Just make sure not to over tighten them.

@jnan66 after pass, when you gliding next to the boat w/o rope tenion, do you feel that your ski kind of "wags" or "vobbling? Or you need to control ski at this moment?. If Yes, I probably know solution (it is not because of ski).

In the previous Animal anatomic insole is a part of boot construction. Normally boot was supplied with left and right footbed was in the box. I can not imagine the way how to integrate ots insole in to this boot.

@wettek69 Thank you. What a pity! Animal was (now was) a binding of choice among the other rubber because of this option. Broken ankle, need some support under the arch of the foot.

Are there, in new Animal, same optional left/right specific insoles like in previous version?

@ScottScott Why not? Standartization is a global trend, hard to resist. Back in time waterski bindings attached to ski with self-tapping screws. Now nearly each ski has a holes pattern and we can attach almost all "out-of-the-box" boot" to virtually any ski on the market. Why not to go further to situation in alpine ski world? And... I did not mean that various boot mathced to same plate is negative! It is opposite - good thend! The only thing I said - I wait for real 3D releade plate and many boots as options.

As I see in the club regular Carbitex boot is 100% reliable in OTF fall. Reflex release is also good for OTF, though has few questions (say softly) in twisted fall. Here we say - it is like adding oil to the buter :) My dreame is to see in the nearest future hardshell waterski boot that reliably releases in all directions. Same as alpine boot. Now in the field of "3D release" we have only MOB (which is nice idea), but it just a binding that do not have any matched to it "out-of-the-box" boot.

I ski in club and between sets leave the rope in the boat among several others. When my turn to ski comes I do not waste a time to pick mine because it is the only one bent. This is a main advantage of bent. I suspect that bent has other good features ))
