  1. I am sure that such a decent man like Mr. Enzo Ferrari returned that Corvette to Chevrolet with explanation and excuses ))
  2. To be frank never drove FIAT. But once upon a time I drove Chevrolet LOL
  3. If this string instead of ski goes to the neck - instant and painless decapitation guaranteed :) One may say that head will not go through, but behaviour of materials in dynamics is not tha same as in statics. There are pictures of straw pierced steel in the hurricane.
  4. @aupatking Thank you! Great idea to move boot on the plate instead of rotating the plate against the ski. Will start new season with this setup!
  5. @aupatking Are you LFF or RFF? I'm not familiar with R-Style, could you pls give more info: where on the binding plate is a "pivot point" - under the middle of foot, in the front or under heel? Is a pivot point in the centerline of the ski or displaced to the left or right side?
  6. @aupatking Thank you for answer. Could you please describe "cant"? Rotating binding inward or outward in flat position? Or canting like in alpine ski - inclining toward to inside or outside edge? @A_B It does make sense. Interesting angle of view! @Deanoski Thanks. I am afraid that swapping Venom to Wiley 3/4 would not change much. I have both of them - by feel and hold they are nearly the same. Though Venom is a bit softer.
  7. I skied in RTP from the day one. This year I tried rear Venom (one size larger than front boot) and really liked stability and concistency that it gives. But: within a week the knee of rear leg started little aching. The longer - the more aching. Within two weeks pain become a noticeable and finally something "clicked" in the knee and I needed to take 10 days break and return to RTP. Did anyone bumped into similar proplem? Is there a solution for such situation, like, for exapmle rotating rear binder to "duck stance"? Or two boot setup is contraindication in this case? Consultation with couple of doctors gave nothing - they simply do not understand what Im talking about )) Thanks!
  8. Is this ski right/left front foot specific, or universal?
  9. After they will put option of speed trigger in the main menu, next minute I make an order ))
  10. My apologies if I missed the answer in the thread above. For big and heavy guys with more or less good stack - what about learning the course by shortering the line from 18 to 16 and simultaneously redusing the boat speed from 49 km to 46?
  11. After I skied few days on C85 Im sure that it is the most popular ski, but not many people still know this lol :)
  12. Which are the best gloves for really cold (some +6C)? The only hack I know is the surgical gloves as a liner. Are there gloves with good grip and neoprene on the upper side?
  13. [dlt] the only problem that may ruin my start is full belly after good breakfast :) @ScottScott Yes!
  14. I think it is more for marketing than for real training. Just to make show from boring routine. By the way, it looks like float - because there are pro skiers. In reality when you stay on this device and start edging right "ski" - belt throws you to left with a power of horse.
  15. From video it is not clear how it works. Normal ski bindings are attached to bars. Bars are attached to belt driven by power motors. When boot edging bar belt moves to the side of edging, the more you edge - the faster belt move. It has several load levels for different sportsmen. The faster your edge change - the shorter turns, the bigger edge angle - the tighter turn. Very similar to snow ski. I personally prefer w/o screen - just workout and edge drill. (Actually bars are attached to system that moves the belt, but once you are in you think that you are on belt)
  16. @swbca Yes it is really challenging - 15 minutes and quads are completely done! I do it almost every pre-winter season since dozen of years ago - it is invented and made by few russian engineers, ski enthusiasts. Now it is pretty big company, they supplied US national team as well. Hi-tech sensors, hi-tech power motors changing direction in a fraction of a second, lot of soft etc.. Extremely helpful for real skiing - one month of regular training and boby angles/edging much better than before.
  17. @RGilmore after surgical operation doctor hinted me that real painkilling effect of ibuprofen starts from doubled or tripled therapeutical recommendation that is from 800 to 1200 mg. Tried, it works. No side effects on short run.
  18. Does it have waterstop flap under zip like Hyperfreak?
  19. Did you see penguin feathers in the water? May be excess of water comes directly from melting antarctic ice? ?
  20. @laurs14 Thank you very much for your reply. As you may see from all my posts I was little "elevated" although not because of money but because of impossibility to reach MSN from different emails accounts. I also have a corporate filter for spam and dangerous IP's which sends all suspicious stuff to the quarantine box. But in the quarantine box there is another bot which checks if there are email addresses from white list. And reports to system administrator. So far no useful message is lost. I sent to MSN emails from address registered as a login to my MSN account both directly from my providers IP and via several VPNs in USA, UK, France etc. all messages looked as delivered because no one time any daemon reported that mail is rejected or blocked. All the time it looked as ignored. So I kept on asking myself - why? About phone calls: we are at 8 hours difference with you, and if I am visiting partners or branches I may be up to 16 hours ahead of you. Even when I am at home 10am in Miami means 8pm in Moscow, not comfortable time to talk about such matters. Even now its 10:20 pm and my wife is looking at me as a federal judge ) I am glad to hear that there nothing bad but simply digital "SkyNet" that makes us helpless ;( Sorry for Daniel, my late condolences to family and colleagues. I will leave country in a few days and will return mid of September. Than I will make another order (because I already bought some items). If email will not work again I will PM you here. Once again thank you for response! Special thanks to BOS! Do not worry for dogs and cats - we are supporting them on monthly basis ))))
  21. Idea of no-boat-slalom is almost here! Why not to use specially designed kite for pull? This may move water slalom to Olympics ))
  22. @skierjp Relax! You are completely right! Why do you think they react to call if for months they demonstratively ignoring all incoming requests? It will be just another useless call and nothing more. They should simply send the money back. As simple as this. After I receive it, I will transfer in full to animal shelter which is close to my house and will present receipt here. Little kittens will be happy ? Or..... may be as baller for baller.... you'll give them a call on my behalf? Do you like cats (or dogs)? Help me to help them! ? I will mention you as a benefactor in transfer paper!
  23. @mike_mapple Mike! This order is fully paid and money went to vendor from my PayPal account. It is not preauthorization, but straight payment to the shop, money were debited from my credit card, PayPal confirmed it. I made quite a few orders from Perfski, never had any troubles even in complicated logistics situations. Thanks! When I will need something I will call you for sure. Our season is almost over, so maybe next spring for 22nd models ))
  24. Why are so many enthusiastic reviews? Well, I am very glad to hear so many happy end stories ❤️ But simple question: do 100 happy end stories make one unhappy end story void and false? The todays screenshot of my account in MSN above shows PAID order which is in "processing" for nearly a year. I have no doubt that any water ski company is monitoring BOS. But MSN is not reacting neither to multiple direct messages nor such publicity. If anyone can explain me what I did wrong I will be very thankful. Please ?
