  1. @MISkier thanks I love it. I put a 13 gallon tank in the nose. The wake is great. The ski doesn’t bounce much at all during crossing.
  2. I took it out. I also hated stepping over it. There is just beautiful open floor.
  3. If I didn’t know any better I would have guessed that was an early 2000’s model with the thick black stripe and the tribal style graphic. I don’t think those boats changed over the 15+ years of production.
  4. Ahhh? @skimtb We need some pics. I bought a 2012 RCB from the Olivet area last fall. Love the boat and the wake is AWESOME.
  5. Watch Coles 2 pass in the video above. After the turn is complete his work area is from there until just over the wake. Some are more pronounced than others.
  6. Ok here is my take. I am at the same level skiing as you 34 mph 35 off but this year is the year I think I learned proper stack. The last couple times out I have ran multiple 35’s and they have felt perfect. In your free skiing set your cuts on what would be ball 2-5,8,&10-12 you don’t rush the turn and you get your shoulders back and hips forward , great leverage, proper stack. In your course video you only do that on ball 4 and you have more time coming into ball 5 than any other time in the course. All other turns it looks like you are rushing the turns. Again I am at your same level but those shoulders back and hips up makes the runs feel great. If you start getting slack into and around the ball don’t pull so long. I will come through the course getting slack and realize I am pulling to long and it all comes back together. All the work is done from half way from the wake to the second wake.
  7. @mayhem if you want to “shoot” back at someone you got to be more clever than that. This ain’t 3rd grade. @ScottScott ... hilarious Forgot the quotation marks.
  8. @bananaron Mint Condition? But not PRISTINE? Where do these fall on your condition scale and I would love to know the whole rainbow of: Show room to Sh?!!, rating system.
  9. What did those things cost brand new?
  10. I love these threads, one side... I told you it was worth that much!!! The other... That idiot paid way to much! Funny thing is there is so much stuff out there that seems over priced but if they are selling it for what they are asking it must not be that much.
  11. I sent a vid to Joel and a couple days later there it was on YouTube with him giving me some great skiing tips. It is so Awesome that he does this and his videos are pretty entertaining.
  12. That’s good to know. I have never seen lake dye that green color before. From that pic I would have said anti freeze for sure.
  13. Really should throw up a pic of the whole engine of you’re not sure if it is closed cooling or not
  14. Does that engine even fit in that boat? :D Beautiful!!!
  15. Can you post a pic of the over all engine
  16. I’d say keep the boat and buy a pontoon. Fun And room for everyone on your small lake.
  17. @The_MS I haven’t done that since I skied with you. As for the original question, I am running 35’s at 34mph and they are starting to feel pretty good but I’m trying to cut the bouts tight. Just wondering if getting wider and cutting the back side of the buoy would be a better approach.
  18. That you don’t feel like you can get wide and early.
  19. How many hours and do you shut the boat off often. Kind of sounds like it could be a weak starter.
