  1. Maybe next time out hit reverse hard then go through a normal skier pull up scenario.
  2. It doesn’t seem you are hitting it to soon. About a normal pull up I would say. Have you checked the tranny fluid lately?
  3. Can you post up a vid that shows what you are doing 5 seconds before you hit it.
  4. How long do you put it in gear before “hitting it”? Seems you are going from neutral to hitting it hard with no delay to let the transmission get a chance to get into gear. I always drag my skier a few feet after they say they are ready then “hit it”
  5. Thanks @Nautiquemike I will have to look into that.
  6. That’s good to know. I’ve heard of others checking to see how many satellites are being received but have not found that in the online manual or playing around with the gauge. It that a thing? And if it works with only one puck how would you know one puck was not working?
  7. One question, when taking these off the boat does the wire disconnect from the puck or is the hole in the boat fiberglass deck big enough to fit that large wire harness connector through it?
  8. Is that a Malibu VLX you are skiing behind? If it is, I skied behind a ‘97 VLX my very first year skiing in the course. The wake is actually very skiable but only at 34-36 mph and 15 off.
  9. I think @jepski said it best, simple and to the point. Can everybody coexist out on the lake together? Jet skiers, pontooners, fishermen, skiers, wakeboarders, tubers, kayakers, SUPers, leisure cruisers, young kids playing on the beach, and anything else you can think of....YEP. Throw in just one surf boat and EVERYONE’s day is changed in an instant.
  10. Guess things are coming around...”Full Circle” http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=809466 Hahahaha
  11. @Andre Thanks for the link. Lot of good stuff in that thread and I will have to read all of that one later. Just more curious on what you guys were doing. I feel that most my noise comes from the exhaust and I don’t hear much from the engine. I will have to look and see what is under my dog house.
  12. For me, I usually ski 2 sets of only 4 passes. The first set I ski all the same length and my goal is to complete all 4 passes. On the second set I shorten to the next shorter rope and ski until I feel fatigued. If I fall, I may take a couple more passes but once the fatigue sets in it’s best to call it a day.
  13. Do any of you have a pic of your finished insulation project?
  14. @oldjeep That jacket should come with matching shorts.
  15. Yellow line could be a cheater/ extension line for shorter lengths. Check the other loop on the red/15 off section. It could be hooked up backwards. One loops is usually bigger than the other.
  16. Something like this might be the safest for your ski.

    WTF?!?!?

Looks to be an old bubble butt hull, pre 2001. Hardly no transom wall to step out/over to get to the platform. That would totally work if it was on a private ski lake and put the gas tank up front. Hope we get to see some more of this project progress.
