  1. meant to say NOT in the league you are all in, definitely not in your league!!
  2. I just bought @scuppers old XTR WW, I am loving it! I've had to severely restrain my aggression. Super stable, doesn't punish you after the ball if you get on the handle to quickly. I have found it even better than my 22 Senate Pro, which I loved. Sadly, I type this and its 22 degrees out, daily highs in the 50s. Not trying my hardest passes, which admittedly are in the league you are all in, but trying to just get used to the ski. Skiing at 32mph at 15-22 off. I started slalom skiing 5 years ago when I turned 50, by far the easiest ski i have skied in the course. Question for you all, I increased the wing to 9 from 7 to slow the ski down, I felt like I was flying into the buoy. it worked great, but I am wondering if the extra speed i am feeling is still from too much aggression or maybe the cold water? Thoughts? I did see the discussion on the forum, but i thought i would ask wide ride skiers directly! Thanks for the great ski Chuck, may have to take you up on a visit!!
  3. it does @jimbrake , we also use Chapeau to say "hats off to you"
  4. It looks to me that she is enjoying her life! Chapeau, Manon!
  5. I ski a reflex on a 22 senate Pro. @Broussard any significant changes from 22 to 23 Senate Pro?
  6. @bbruzzese I have, they work pretty well, also 303 marine molder remover is fantastic.
  7. I also vote Senate Pro Build. Ski has a ton of horsepower, and I am loving the extra width. I have made more progress on this ski at a faster rate, than I did on my NRG. So forgiving, plenty fast, generates tons of angle. Ski is super confidence inspiring. I find I have more time and space which allows me to focus on my stack, staying tall, patience at the ball, etc..... FYI 32 mph skier.
  8. Hey Ballers, are any of you aware of any slalom courses on Lake Thurmond?
  9. @Buxrus I can confirm that it does, see post above. It seems odd to me that my question seems to have bothered you so much. It wasn't bragging at all. They are not expensive vehicles. You clearly have more towing experience than I do. Asking a towing question about a boat that is 1500 lbs over max towing capacity seems like a legitimate question to me. enjoy your Bronco, if it is in fact yours, and you can feel good about towing it short distances. enjoy your summer!
  10. That's not Freddie's MO, he's pretty adamant about riding what the factory makes and not riding special one off skis. I would be shocked if Fred was riding something other that what the top-sheet says. I have skied his NRG R2 and his Ion, and his NRG felt just like mine.
  11. Hey Ballers, I was thinking of getting an HO Hovercraft, but I don't have a direct connect binding. Does HO make an adapter for no-direct connect bindings? Or does anyone have a direct connect binding they want to get rid of? Seems like HO kind of shooting themselves in the foot with direct connect on the hovercraft.
  12. @Buxrus douche response, even with the sarcasm comment. It was legitimate question in my opinion. The boat/trailer are 1500lbs over the the stated max.
  13. @LoopSki , definitely not an everyday tow rig. Not designed for towing. Definitely a super fun summer toy, though! Drives great and pretty impressive off road. Fun toy.
  14. Well, the experiment worked! Not bad at all. Would not want it to be the daily driver, but totally fine! Sticking with my pick-up, but I have an emergency tow rig!
  15. What about the MOB binding? I use it with a Reflex boot and a Connelly Sync boot. Seems to address a lot of your binding issues.
  16. @ScottScott its a dirt road, 25 mph. New concrete ramp, very reasonable grade.
  17. @skierjp I would think for full transparency the organizers would share that video. That would remove all doubt. I am happy to have skiing on the web at all, I feel the product at the Masters could be significantly better. Given the number of posts on this thread, it seems I not alone.
  18. As someone who is fairly new to the sport, and admittedly a slalom neophyte, can someone explain to me how Freddie can be de disqualified for arguing a perfectly valid point? If the video they use for review, doesn't clearly show him missing it, and his spray is making it difficult to see anything, not him or his ski, how can you take the buoy away? Wouldn't you need clear video to make such a game changing call? Also, I agree with all the posts about the broadcasting and video, its not even close to TWBC. Close to unwatchable. If we have a tournament called the Masters, shouldn't the qualifications, video, broadcasting, and everything associated with it be up to the highest standards?
  19. @Jmoski class III, the factory trailer package. I'm feeling ok about it. I would only need to use it in an emergency situation 2 miles each way. I have a ford Ranger that I tuned with the 5 Star Tuning kit that's my normal rig. That tune was a game changer. 380 lbs. of torque and probably 1000lbs lighter than my V8 F150!
  20. @jhughes one would have to assume owners would know the difference. One is a rebadged Ford Escape, and one isn't.
  21. It would not be an every day tow, just when son leaves with my truck......arghhhh!
  22. The Bronco is tow rated at 3500 pounds, could I tow my 2017 prostar 2 miles to the lake?
