  1. @DaveLemons might have some insight for you. He drops a course in the the river in Idaho every year.
  2. Boise Idaho. Have about 3 winter months but people were skiing in February last year. I started in March and am still skiing now. Tons of farms, three ski lakes, and thriving right now. Been voted in the top ten places to move for quite a few years now. Great schools and kids as well. Wait.... don’t move here. Ha ha just kidding. It is awesome.
  3. Yep looks like a front downhill boot and a rear cross country boot. I dig it. On the snow is where I am more comfortable so maybe I should make something.....
  4. Cool concept, but wouldn’t $2400 cover a pretty sweet ski lake membership? I know it would for me. I guess if you didn’t have a ski lake near you then this your best bet...
  5. @liquid d I know someone looking but that link isn’t there anymore
  6. @sunvalleylaw bent ARS handle. No elbow problems since. Bent the normal radius style.
  7. 12” bent In-tow is what I use. Reduces strain on my elbows and helps me keep the handle to my hips being narrow.
  8. @Horton yep u are gonna love it! I set a PB on the 2018, and then set another PB on 2019. It is a sweet ride.
  9. @MS I am a B1 skier too. I would like to know what settings you use on different boats? I feel the same about different pulls also. My boat is a 2009 Response. I ski B1 on it, but for example the tourney pulls between the MC and the new Nautique have been totally different. I also have dual puck on mine, but still skis like a New MC on B1. However I skied the new Nautique yesterday and skied ok.
  10. Think I will just stick with what I am doing, and work from home, and go skiing when I want..... not bad I guess.
  11. 65 for me yesterday. Cold, but sure not wetsuit time yet.
  12. @JohnN I ski with a couple people in the Seattle area. Let me know if you want their contact info. Bow lake is up by Bellingham also, not sure who you can contact there tho.
  13. Bad thing is that the dad was skiing and teaching his son to drive the course for the first time.
  14. My 7 year old daughter was not really into skiing so much. She would go every once in a while, but we had to pretty much bribe her. She watched two other girls her age in this last tournament ski and now she wants to ski all the time! She will do 2 sets or more! Have my 4 year old on the ski sled and my wife is stoked now that she can practice with the mini course. So stoked to have a ski family!
  15. My take on this. I feel unless people experience the joy of waterskiing or the addiction to get that next bouy or line length, they don’t quite understand the fun or why to watch. I know people that are relatives of people in tourneys that don’t enjoy being there because they are bored. They now see the mini bouys in and have the thoughts of maybe trying it. However, I show video to some people and they are amazed in what we do. Unfortunately most people are on the other spectrum.
  16. I have skied in two tournaments behind it. Don’t like anything about it, and couldn’t wait for the second round so the MasterCraft would come out.
  17. I want to enter tricks and am ok on a trick ski, but a few of us were talking and could you actually use a different piece of equipment? Meaning a wakeskate etc as long as it didn’t have fins? I am better on a wakeskate.....I know they do tricks and 3 event on kneeboards so why not? Can imagine what these comments are going to be.....
  18. Good for you @Edbrazil When I did a report on straight snow skis vs. shaped the instructor hated it and gave me a bad grade in college. At least it sounds like 1965 was cool for that ha ha.
  19. Don’t pay him and buy your next handle from Masterline or another brand that has good customer service.
  20. Love my 2009 Malibu Response LXi. Great wake and nice room inside. Could always go for a 197, SN 206, or TXi as well. The Malibu has a better wake IMO.
