  1. $50-75 is ridiculous. You want to help or get people in the sport and that isn’t the way to do it. If you want to charge gas money that is fine, but boat costs? If people come to our lake I just pull them, if they want to chip in that is up to them. I just enjoy helping other ballers with their addiction.
  2. $50 a set? For what? Do they give you a massage too? I am used to paying $20 for most just sayin.
  3. Yeah not in Idaho. Ski areas got 24” which is totally good with me! Still want some good mountain days!
  4. Might want to go buck yourself down a mountain like me. Still get your skiing fix!
  5. I would lean more towards the LXi. The PS205’s are still pretty low. I bought an LXi because it was higher for my kids safety and is pretty good in rough water. Skis great too. It is a 2009 tho. The Wakesetter platform came from the earlier LXi’s
  6. Yep, Terry does this at our lake as well. Weaving is definitely a great way to feel the pass, feel accomplished, and have the confidence to making the next pass. Doing this or him telling us to get our form right at slower speeds has helped us be better skiers for sure. No one wants to do this because we are stubborn, but the change will make a difference in your skiing when it matters.
  7. I would look into towers from Roswell, new dimension, or Samson. Probably best quality and fit.
  8. @Zman Yes, the new carbon sheet, and I believe the flat spot was moved forward and tail width? The 2018 kicks ass, but the 2019 is at the max! @brooks can give some insight of course.
  9. Not the same ski, however the 2018 is a great ski. It will be more than enough fun for you for sure.
  10. Very nice @DaveLemons ! Linda must have felt sorry for you ha ha. Merry Christmas!
  11. Looks like a 1930’s Hubert Johnson of some sort to me.
  12. I shut it off after 1:00. Couldn’t listen to that guy. That is one beautiful Nautique, love the color combo for sure tho!
  13. We use dye, buy fish and they do a great job plus they are fun to catch. We have used copper sulfate in the past which works great, but are trying to stay away from that as you are with chemicals. Buy more bass and suckers and you will be all set with your dye!
  14. I agree, I can PB all day long in practice, but for some reason my nerves get the best of me in tourneys and I forget how to ski. Hopefully the more I do the easier it will get. Honestly enjoy the atmosphere of being around a bunch of great people on a weekend.
  15. On season as @twhisper always says to us, no reason to shorten the rope if you look like crap. Run a longer line say 22 and go to the speed that you can run with good form pass after pass. Then work on technique and move up from there. Off season I workout in the morning and do 100’s in the afternoon. 100’s are 5 sets of 20 reps of 4 different exercises in a row. Snow ski also.
  16. Makes me wonder how it would be to get my 7 year old daughter up on a single next year? @savaiusini
  17. Go for the Malibu or the Nautique. The XT is going to have the smallest wake. Considering the Malibu is year older I would have to say the Nautique. I personally like Malibu better, but having local support is a must.
  18. Or just be a bigger man and buy a Diesel. Then you won’t regret not buying one in the future!
  19. @dvskier Yep I was one of them who wanted an open bow CP. I do agree tho that they had superb wakes, but driving them was not great for tracking. The 2019 SN does fit the bill, but the price isn’t as friendly.
