Ha, not looking to work in a shop. Basically marketing, sales, promotions etc. even if it was a side gig I’d be fine with that.

I am in Aviation sales now, but what does a person have to do to get into the Boat or Watersports industry? I know we all probably think about it, but really would be a dream job! Just thought I would throw it out there when I pretty much eat, sleep, dream about and look at everything that has to do with boats or skiing. Ha!

So I was lucky enough to get one of these skis and it is unbelievable! I came off a 2018, but this ski seems even better! Fast, smooth as butter in the turns, and just wants to do its job getting through the course. Set boots to stock settings and fin where I had my 2018 and I was off to the races! Love this ski!

There is also the site across the 580 From washoe lake. Not sure who’s that is though.

@Ajskier that trailer is nice and a great deal. If the bunks aren’t at the correct angle then just change it. @Jody_Seal I am sure would know if there was a difference also.

@powbmps @DangerBoy Stock dampener settings which really doesn’t seem to do much and the fin settings actually came from a pro that is about the same size as me that was on a 67” as well. Stock didn’t work at all for me. Try stock and go from there if you want. I have other settings that didn’t work for me but may for you. Just toy with it and figure it out. Buy a good set of tools/calipers so you can dial it in. Moving boots Can always be a factor also.

@DangerBoy So the V Type is going to ride deeper in the water than the monza. As far as width I would put it on the same spectrum as the Monza. The V Type is decently fast, but not as forgiving as the monza was. Both were very sensitive to fin and boot settings. The settings I gave you are pretty evenly weighted. I do have others if those don’t work. I liked those the best. This is only my opinion of this ski so might work better for you. I went from a Radar to this ski, and now back on a Radar again. Not sure if this helps, but feel free to ask anything else you got.

@DangerBoy the V Type is an HO S2 front half and an A3 tail.

Whatever is comfortable, but -28 at 34 would be the best for you IMO

Love those boats still! I would have one sitting in the garage if I didn’t need an open bow. Maybe one day the CP will come out again. Nice boat tho!

@DangerBoy I had to size up for my Vapor boots. Once you heat mold them they fit perfect.

@wheelskis and @DangerBoy here are some settings for the 67” that work well. 29 5/8 6.905 2.485 .730 9 degrees

The V-Type is not a good ski especially for a transition skier like you. The CX and TX are open water skis, but the Omni is a great ski for sure! Have you considered a Radar Senate? That would be the ski to go with that will get you to the 34 mph threshold you are looking for and then you can upgrade from there.

Get grip gloves or suck it up. Power through it and go skiing! Too harsh....oh sorry...just a die hard

Yep that is the same boat that was for sale like a year or two ago. Had like 25-2700 hours. Even with a motor rebuild you would come out ahead to keep or sell it.

Wrap your red one in blue and keep the interior the red color! MERICA! Don’t see the point in the hassle of buying another boat just cause of the color change??? We have two blue ones at our lake;)
