  1. your not going to break it . It just won't ski well for you at those slower speeds
  2. Ski companies and related industries have all been great in my experience. Given the chance to address an issue they are all in. No complaints at all.
  3. Mini course/ novice buoys don’t add any time to installing and solve the concern of straight arms and also provide a training guide. Win Win. Simple- do it- done
  4. @Andre I believe add I but would like others to confirm
  5. Use mid arm buoys. Simple - keep arms from sagging and also gives you a mini course for training . I thought EZ courses used them
  6. The Concept a good rec ski and ok for anyone learning and entry into a course . If it’s the right size for him at $125 it’s a screaming deal I’d say buy regardless. One of my daughters rode a Concept for a few years
  7. I believe it did stop with the GTR unfortunately - but I'd call to confirm. They did just replace a 2022 DV8 for me that had a problem but that's expected. Their warranty department has always been wonderful.
  8. I love MikroJust. Excellent product . Will last a lifetime, provides greater adjustment versatility, and really helps lock the binding in place firmly. Your tfactors will take a little getting used to but I'm confident you will love them. Outstanding bindings . Go ski................
  9. @water_skier1 - No. Incorrect. Where the front and rear inserts attach on the boot are slots, yet they tighten down securely. Look at the picture I posted above, the front slot screws have a washer underneath and the rears (also slots) are the wider head Radar screws both tighten down just fine. You do not need countersunk holes to secure the boot correctly at all . Or listen to what @BraceMaker said above. To use Mikro-just you are instructed (required) to get rid of the holes as it has to have a slot.
  10. So timely. I just had my first dermatologist full scan- one spot biopsied on forehead basal cell carcinoma- just yesterday had MOHS procedure- only 2 layers taken - got all clear- stitched up- worst is CANT SKI FOR A WEEK. Blue Lizard sunscreen is what all my Drs are recommending- which I use religiously now. Worst is I’m looking at this 50 yards off my dock and can’t go ski. MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT TODAY.
  11. So many great comments here I can relate to. Consistent gate pullout and turn in - Essential for us mere mortals. Stop trying to power a pass and just relax and ski - yes form and timing are key. Also as noted above skiing MUCH more from the waist down . I have not been using my legs nearly enough. A Freddie comment in one of his recent podcasts with MB he said he tells 99% of students to "use their knees as arrows" where they want the ski to go. A simple visual that if done moves so much more in line also.
  12. OK so the pattern does line up - it's just one is a hair narrow .I'm surprised. I got rid of the 5 "circles" just by running a drill bit up and down in there to turn it into a slot like the others as I use Mikro-just. If you want to only open up one hole you can also use a drill - only takes a few seconds to do either.
  13. Making this way too hard. PT is fine. Carpet with quality indoor/outdoor. Done. How much time does your trailer spend in the water? .00001% Want a lifetime solution - make your bunks - sister joint the wood like building a stringer (4 pieces to make 1). Glue and screw the sections together, than wrap in quality boating cloth (fiberglass) and then finish with 3 coats of quality epoxy resin. Drill your mounting holes - seal those with epoxy also (2x). Then add your carpet. Glue it on - no staples or nails. Will be 3X stronger than any wood alone, will not let a microbe of water in and will out live you by 30 years................
  14. What? Doesn't make sense. Can't see the inserts from that that picture. VTR is about a 2014 /15 ski. My tfactors mounted right up to an S2 that was I believe was a 2013/14. Show us a pic of the middle inserts with the binding sitting so the front inserts show in the slots
  15. WAYway too expensive for a how to book.... IMO
  16. @Cnewbert - it’s all relative. Not all aircraft stuff is more expensive. Shop aircraft motorized dolly’s
  17. I ran tfactors on my last HO which was about a 2013/14 model without issue. Mounted right up no problem. Been riding Connelly since which they also mount to just fine
  18. @Cnewbert - Go to your local private airport /FBO. Very common powered item for moving aircraft of all sizes in and out of hangars.
  19. @rico How many men have run 41 at 55k? 😂
  20. @jpwhit - my poly mainline has bullet weights inserted about every 15-20 ft or so, plus tightening and end end anchor keeps the mainline 100% low and tight at buoy line length. I don't use anything heavy for buoy lines either that could foul a prop. Paracord is thin but very strong, yet will cut easily with a prop hit. I've never had a paracord buoy line break on its own but have had them easily cut when hit by a prop.
